This used to happen to me all the time.
When I thought a package was taking too long to reach me, I used to contact the company I ordered it from to make sure it hadn't gotten lost and I often received the package the next day!
Once or twice, the company would jump the gun and send me another copy, which I then refused the delivery of and would be returned to them.
Now, I'm much more patient and if I still write to a company regarding a late package, I make sure to mention to them that they should not send me another one right away (companies need to be more patient too! ).

out of curiosity, why did you refuse the delivery instead of accepting a second copy?
It may be. I can't add it to my cart either, and it has disappeared from the ToMI section of the store.
Agreed. I was reminded on July 9 to order my deluxe edition and now that I am back from vacation, it won't let me order it. Any word from Telltale if they are sold out?

Yeah: "We've had some trouble with the Deluxe Edition so we had to take it down from the site. It's out of stock and it's not certain when or if it will return."
A long post, but I would be glad if someone from the TT's staff could read it, since it is very important for me.
So, the deluxe ed. is out of stock, with the TT staff not knowing if they'll ever have more of it. Even the collector ed. isn't available anymore.
Thereafter, some questions come to mind: I ask to the TT staff why, oh why, didn't you say that there were few remaining? Of course, it is obvious that the stock will empty sooner or later, but if I receive an e-mail of half a month ago where it talks exactly about that and it doesn't even mention the fact items are running low, it is logical to think that there's still a long way for them to be sold-out. Sure, there's an offer for shipping right now, but you want to say that at least half of the stock was emptied between the 12th of July and now? How many there were in stock then?
Moreso, why didn't you say that they were limited? Because that's what they are (were), if yourselves are not even sure that you can make more of it, then it's by definition a limited product.
Another question: will the offer there is now ever be repeated? Not a similar one, I mean the exact same offer there is now. And if so, will it be at least repeated in no more than a year from now? Otherwise, I might as well buy the merchandise there is now.
Also, a feedback from one of your customer/user -read: bitching incoming-: I am very embittered and disappointed by your relatinoship with the paying customers. As I said before, you didn't advised us of the low quantity of deluxe ed. for no particular reason, you didn't advised us the deluxe ed. were limited, you took a life for shipping MI orders (which is one of the reasons I waited till the last days to order, since there would have been no point in using money for an order that who knows when it would have been shipped) and you didn't even bothered to keep in stock at least the collector edition, despite not all the pre-ordering guys having bought it yet (I'm one of those).
I had in mind of buying all the TT's MI merchandise with free shipping, and now apparently I can't; I can only buy part of it, because the deluxe is out of stock. I could buy it after, but then I'll have to pay the shipping cost since the offer lasts until the 31th. And it would cost A LOT, since I live across the ocean and, from what I've been told and what I've seen, the deluxe is a fairly big package, which increase by much the standard cost.
It's true that I waited 'till the last moments in doing so, but why did I do that?
- The shipping didn't happen until last month. As I said before, why should I spend money for something that who knows when would have been shipped? Better spare them for the more urgent needs.
- You continued to add MI merchandise, so I decided to wait until all of it would have been there, in order to ship it in one package.
- July was a particular month for me, so I could hardly occupy myself with the merchandise. I also took it easy I admit, but then again there were no forewarning about what happened now.
Mind you, I know all of this (except the collector ed.) wasn't promised in any way, still it's the way you handled it, like it was nothing, that annoyed me. We're talking about money here, about sparing money to be exact, and they should always be given some sort of consideration.

Delivery status information will be provided if / when available. Information, if available, is updated periodically throughout the day. Please check again later.
So whats the deal here? They havn't been given my package to ship yet?

Yes, you saw it correct, the June 25th is supposed to be the date of shipment.
Well, up to now, I know it isnt. Only if the package is coming over Atlantic using rowboat.
Please dont tell me it is!
It is now 6 weeks and tree days - still no sign of my package.
Is it reasonable from me to expect it before Christmas?
Ok, 2011 Christmas?
Yes, I know I am pushing too hard...
Hi aufbix,
So, it's probably safe to assume this shipment is either lost or stuck in customs. Anything after 6 weeks is too long. Please check your PM's.

I wonder.. When is it time to start worrying?

From the date mentioned in your post, you should start worrying around mid-September.
USPS does not provide tracking information for International Mail, just a delivery confirmation.
So, the status on the USPS website will not be updated until AFTER your package is delivered.
Actually, it might not even be updated at that point, as my brother received his package before the end of June and the USPS status is still:

There is a good chance you will get your package long before mid-September (it took about 10 days for my brother to get his package in Belgium), but as international shipping can take up to 6 weeks, you shouldn't start worrying just yet.
"The U.S. Postal Service was electronically notified by the shipper on July 06, 2010 to expect your package for mailing. This does not indicate receipt by the USPS or the actual mailing date. Hi Ozz le Grand.
First of all, where are you from (or more to the point, where is the package shipping to)?
Delivery can take up to 6 weeks to anywhere outside the USA, but from July 6 to August 25 is indeed a little over 6 weeks.
I would say to give it another week, maybe check with your local post office just in case, then notify Telltale so they can look into it...
It's September 02 today and my package is on way since July 06. That means 8 weeks and telltale NEVER replied my emails. (It's about 6 or 7 emails)
I'm in Turkey and still waiting for my Deluxe pack. Do I have to pray Lord for some luck???

I also live in Turkey, and I should say that it does take 2 months for your package to arrive. It should still come around these days, so don't lose your hope.

It's still too early to start worrying, then.
Give it a few more days and you'll soon get to enjoy your package of Telltale goodness.

The USPS "tracking number" is not a tracking number, it's a delivery confirmation.
The status will only be updated after the delivery (if at all).
