Why is Your Shipping so Expensive?

I have bought LOTS of stuff from you guys. All the S&M games with DVD and all the extras. Shirts, hats, books, signed posters, etc.

But several times recently I have started to buy something and then stopped when I reached checkout because your minimum shipping charge seems to be $10!

I'm really not that interested in the Strong Bad game but saw your promo today and thought what the heck...for 10 bucks I'll grab the DVD but then you want another 10 bucks to ship it when a buck or two would get it pretty much anywhere in the USA using plain ol mail! I hate to say it but it sure looks like you're just kicking the price up.

Please give us a reasonable option for shipping that does not cost as much as the item we are purchasing!

Their distribution center really sets up the shipping charge, not them. Granted, I've never had a problem with the shipping charges. I bought the posters and got them shipped for 3.99

OK. So I guess this was a fluke. Yesterday when I tried to order it gave me only a $10 Fedex option but now it gives me a 1st class mail at $4.32. I know it is not a lot of difference but it seemed odd to pay $10 for a game and then $10 for shipping! Anyway, its all good now and I went ahead and ordered.

Customers living in America shouldn't have problems with shipping charges.

Whilst people like me have to deal with 30-40$ of shipping. It's still a problem that needs to be fixed.

Do you only have a $30-$40 option? We've had three instances of international customers not having the basic shipping option. If you are getting this error as well please let me know so we can get it fixed.

It was a problem I've encountered a month ago. Now I got 16$ shipping option for ordering 5 dvds to my place. It's tolerable methinks.

Theese days have been really strange in the shipping cost... Two days ago I went to buy S&M3 + the DVD set of animated series + S&M2 + Poker Night + Surfin' the Highway, and the shipping cost went FREE. But the website couldn't finish the checkout, it kept giving me errors. I tryed it today and I now see that the same order has 16$ on shipping cost...

I had faith in a policy such us: Free shipping in orders higher than 60$, or something like that... :(

The free shipping on orders over $50 is just a promotion that Telltale runs from time to time.
Making it permanent would not be cost-effective for Tellltale, especially with the amount of international orders that they get.
However, their international shipping costs have been lowered considerably in the last year.
For example, three DVD's (TOMI standard edition, Wallace & Gromit and The Devil's Playhouse) to Istanbul (Turkey) would only cost $13.09 with USPS International First Class Mail.
