Strong Bad startup error: Error accessing the system registry

My copy of Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People won't start up. Whenever I select AutoRun (And this is before it's been installed) a box pops up saying "Error accessing the system registry." I'm trying to install it from a hard copy, so maybe there's something I'm missing here. Does anyone have any answers?
