Poker Night won't start

Kiojan22 · November 2010

Joined the forums to register a problem,

I run Windows XP. I downloaded Poker Night on TTG and after installing it and starting the game (not selecting the "play now" option; clicked on the shortcut on my desktop) got the following error.

"This Application has failed to start because MSVCP100.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem."

The error window was labeled: CelebrityPoker.exe - Unable to Locate Component

Tried reinstalling/downloading it again. Twice. Same problem.

Same thing is happening to me. I hope this gets fixed soon!

My system runs on windows 7 and I'm having the same problem with the same error message. I followed the message's advice and re-installed it, but the problem is still there.

Exact same problem. I run Vista.

That makes us 5, I have yet to try redownloading but I'm getting the same error after reinstalling.

6 and counting

Cyberlink420 · November 2010

Make that seven. Gonna try the Steam version later to see if that works.

I had the exact same problem; a little google searching led me to this link:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=a7b7a05e-6de6-4d3a-a423-37bf0912db84&displaylang=en

and once it installed Poker Night seems to run fine. Not sure why this was necessary

Same problem here.

Kiojan22 · November 2010

Downloading that program fixed it for me. It's running fine now.

MarvinIII · November 2010

That worked, thanks.

Same problem. And downloading the given Microsoft Visual C++ link worked. Weird bug...didn't even get to the unlock screen.

goofybandit · November 2010

Awesome! It worked!

SunnyGuy · November 2010

Yeah, that seems to fix the problem.

Nixel · November 2010

For those with Windows 7 x64, you'll need to install the x86 version linked in this thread to get the game to work.
