Tales of Monkey Island Deluxe Edition order!!

Hey guys,

I ordered the Tales of Monkey Island Deluxe Edition on the 19th March and was told in April that they should have stock in by end month. I haven't had any word since about it. Has anyone else ordered this product and received it? :confused:

I was hoping to get it before July as it's a birthday present for family member.

    They are getting things in, but they don't have all the items yet. There is even some info in the blog about it.

    Non-deluxe versions are shipping now, for the deluxe ones they have to wait on some parts to arrive...

    I don't think I'll be getting my package (ordered in March) before I leave for a 2 month holiday in 3 weeks. Luckily it's being delivered to my workplace and a friend's going to take it home for me :)

    It makes sense, if a person is paranoid and doesn't want to give out his home address on the web.

    Lots of people have stuff delivered to their office. Generally someone needs to be available to accept a package when it's delivered, since it won't fit in the letterbox and it can't just be left at your front door. If you're not home when the postman comes (which is highly likely if you work regular business hours), you'd have to go collect the package from the post office, which can be a hassle. Much easier just to get it delivered to your workplace.

    Far easier to get it delivered to the office (which my employer is OK with), and if I'm not there, someone else will be and they'll grab it and put it on my desk.

    Australia's postal system might be different to your country...

    Right now, the deluxe edition could ship at any time. Bonnie posted in a thread that they are assembling the merchandise together and are ready to ship as early as this week.

    I ordered the deluxe edition 5 days ago...and it still says to check back for shipping info...I know 5 days isn't much but...if they do have it in stock (and it is not indicated otherwise), it should have been less than 5 days...

    Five days ago would have been Thanksgiving, today is only the second business day since you ordered.

    Oh....you're right, it was Thanksgiving and after that was the weekend......so that's ok then. Thanks for reminding me :)

    And now I'm really worried....the order supposedly shipped more than 2 weeks ago...and it still didn't arrive....that never happened before... :/

    It almost always takes 4-6 weeks for your country. Sorry :(

    Thank you, Amy :) And btw, sorry for whining on here over the past 20 or so days...it is, after all, Tales of MI Deluxe Edition.....so I was particularly eager to get it as soon as possible :)

    i preordered tomi, havent ordered my dvd yet. i remember for some time it was possible to upgrade to the deluxe edition.

    is this not possible anymore? or am i too stupid to find it?

    The deluxe Edition is a limited edition that was sold out, then came back (by popular demand?).
    At this time, it appears to be available right here.

    You should be able to get it for $15, rather than the full price (at least, I think that's what I paid!). If if doesn't work try getting telltale to put it in your basket for you, with the discount.

    forget it, i already bought it new for 9,99$ cause of the 80% discount all bttf-preorderers get.

    just tried to be a scrooge mcduck a little to hard, thats why i said "sorry". i feel bad now for even asking. i really do.
