It's yellow!

What the....

Today the stuff i ordered back in december arrived. Yay!

But why is the box of my tomi deluxe edition mostly YELLOW instead of brown? it's supposed to look like wood right?? but it doesnt! it's yellow, i looked over the whole box, not a single spot is brown, the "wood" looks like a mix of a shade of grey + yellow

is this a general problem the "second batch" of the deluxe edition has?

i expected to get something like this:

aaaand.... i'm a bit dissapointed, telltale!

    weird... must have been a bad batch? I'm interested in seeing a picture mainly because it sounds odd looking.

    Sounds like a printing error, like your box somehow missed the Cyan and Magenta ink passes or something. Can you send a picture, just because I'm curious? Also you should write to support@telltalegames.com, where someone will help you out with getting a non screwey version.

    It doesn't look as bad as I imagined after reading your unedited first post (if I didn't know its color wasn't accurate I would look at that picture and just blame the camera and then get on with it) but there is a slight difference I assume. I wouldn't be as disappointed if I recieved the box in that color but, well, you're not ME.

    I can't see any difference between the two.

    I'm not saying this to dismiss your post or say your wrong or anything I just rly can't see any difference.

    yeah, it doesnt look as bad on the picture as it looks in reality, damn you cheap digicam.

    maybe the first picture wasnt perfect to show the color difference, but imho mine is way to yellowish

    Again, I'm not seeing a big difference. I can even say that the second referencial picture you sent looks a lot more yellow than your box.

    Yh I rly can't see any diffrence I even looked at my box and thoes pics to see if there was a diffrence and I can't see any.

    Hmmm I must say that is pretty much how mine looks too.. I would have had one from the first run of them too.. I guess it looks worse in person?

    I see it, too! It's definitely a LOT more yellow-ish than it should be.

    Looking at both of those pictures, the "yellow" one is more correct to what I've seen.

    I have both the original Telltale one and the UK one at my desk, and both are far closer to the "yellow" look than SonataFanatica's.

    yeah the "yellow" is what I have... I think its supposed to be like that.

    I think the brown one looks like that because of the lighting and all.

    That's how all of them look. I can send you another box if you'd like but it won't be any different.

    Mine is "yellow" too. I think it looks nice!
