    My brain hurts... Xp

Damn family, giving me diseases! >:/
  • edited April 2011
I'm in the same boat, only my parents were kind enough to give me a couple of hereditary ones such as migraines

In fact they don't particularly appear all that distressed over it, either... can't even say the appear to be feeling the least bit guilty :eek:

My parents didn't even give me migraines! My grandparents did!

Though, a random note about migraines. Apparently, if you get them, you're a whole lot less likely to go senile. Something about the thickening of the brain stem. Which is always a nice thing.

This vanilla mochi ball has a different texture to it than the green tea and mango ones did. The outside is softer, to the point that texture-wise, it feels like eating a ball of dough filled with ice cream.

Hah, not bad if that is true, never heard that before.
I also heard keeping your brain active a lot of the time helps prevent/delay dementia... things like solving crosswords, etc... don't know if that's true either, but it kinda sounds a bit logical :D

If anyone is curious, here is a tune from Legend of Kyrandia recorded on a real MT-32... the first part is the adlib rendition of the tune, and at 2:46 the MT-32 part starts.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sVJmKYTmtzY

This is one case where I prefer the adlib sound to the MT-32 sound, though... because it sounds 'warmer' and also - the panflutes in the MT-32 one sound pretty bad, don't like those much at all. However, the part after the flute bit sounds pretty decent on the MT-32.

But this game has really nice adlib, Westwood were often great at making nice adlib tunes.

Of course, there's always the camp, that my high school physics teacher came from, who would prefer to go senile and not have migraines...

Going senile sounds like a huge headache to me :p

I'll take the occasional migraine rather than dementia any time :o

Same with me. I would rather be able to think when I can't move than just sit around like a vegetable until I die. That thought depresses me like nothing else.

    OK sorry, jeez....

My head is being filled up with grapejuice to the bursting point, and it's causing my cigarette to go out... I just farted, greetings from the fifth colony of the Arbitrary system, we just finished celebrating the increase in drowning worms this time around.

^^ if I ended up going nuts, that's the way I'd prefer.

So many little touches from the first JP movie are little classic moments, like even that little thing there :D

That's something the (poor) sequels really lack.

I had some sort of weird cold/throat infection/something like that when I was quite young that sort of made my spit look a bit like the spit from that dinosaur... anyone know what exactly it could have been? Anyone else had something similar?
Could've been fun if only my throat wasn't sore as hell while that was going on.
Been curious about that, no way I can remember what it was anymore.

Watching My Little Pony. This show is seriously addictive. And totally not the sort of thing I would normally watch except for the fact that it's so good.

    I may not sleep tonight.

Sleep is overrated, IMO. Although now I'm totally tired. Goddamn.

Both my body and my brain can go for long periods without sleep, but my eyes screw it all up... for whatever reason whenever I get very sleepy, my eyes seem to dry up... badly. Stings and itches like crazy, it's really annoying.

I had a caffeinated soda today. I will not be tired for quite some time.

Stimulants seem to be quite popular in science fiction series, just from the top of my head I remember those Stims in Babylon 5 and those stimulant pills they sometimes pop in Battlestar Galactica.

Also Starcraft. And this space series by Tanya Huff that I can't really remember.

I never drank caffeine before high school. Then I discovered Code Red. Now, caffeine hasn't had a discernible effect on me for years.

Funny how if breakfast being the most important meal in the day... how it's so common to have poor appetite when getting out of bed.

    Actually more annoying than funny.
  • edited April 2011
And that is why it's so important, you have not eaten for so many hours that you actually feel sick by it.
Trust me when you start getting something down it will go away, when the stomach gets something to fill the empty space. :)
