"Die trying"?

Look, Telltale, are you telling me to die while trying to laugh?

The slogan always bothered me because of this easy way to read it "the wrong way". Just HAD to mention it. Or was it intentionally put like that? :D

Actually, I didn't die at all. Not yet anyway.
    --
You Telltale guys, you don't, "check-up on" people who bought the game or something, do you?

    I don't think there's a right way to read it. It's just catchy-sounding nonsense :p

I took it to mean you'll either die playing the game or die trying to win.

I just noticed the slogan isn't listed anymore on this site, which is a little sad, since I agree with Kevin that it's a really funny slogan. It's "You'll either die laughing or die trying", in case anyone wondered. Simply brilliant. :)

  • ...Wow, what a blast from the past. And what a weird thing to have been wondering about in 2009. :P
