Try logging in instead of using serial numbers, works for me.

Make sure you run the program as admin. I had similar problems with TOMI, except the code method always worked.

Try copy and pasting the codes.

If you took advantage of the $4.95 special that Telltale is currently having, it appears that there is a widespread problem with unlocking the game that Telltale is working on fixing.
More info and updates in real time in this thread.

There are some tips on this page that might help you (I posted and used the "Telltale Trick", and played the game with no problem, but that was with CrossOver Games 8.0.0... maybe something's changed since?)
Why don't you download the Mac version?

Why don't you download the Mac version?

Your help is appreciated, but none of these tricks work yet. I've noticed that in the process of installing Internet Explorer 6.0 it appears a message like this one:

Setup has detected a newer version of Internet Explorer already installed on this system. Setup cannot continue.

Could this be the problem? In that case, how can I solve it?

Mac version is way too slow to be played, that's why I'm trying with CrossOver.

    Thanks again.

That's odd. When I played the game with CrossOver Games, I had to have the graphics settings really low (3 or 4) for the game to play at normal speed, whereas I can play the Mac version at graphics settings level 9.
Did you try lowering the graphics settings in the Mac version?
As for you Internet Explorer installation problem, I'm not sure...
Are you trying to install the game in an already existing bottle, or in a completely new one?
As far as I know, Internet Explorer's setup program should only check the contents of the bottle it's being installed into for another version and there shouldn't be any if you install the game in a brand new bottle.
If you bought CrossOver Games, you can always try an older version (from the archived downloads page).
Not sure what else you can do, though...
