The Walking Dead Xbox problems

I love this game and have dealt with all the garbage that has come along with it since episode 2 but this is ridiculous! what is the process that takes these episodes so long to come out if you cant even get it right?

None of my achievements have unlocked since episode 1. Fine

Episode 4 erased my save data and made me play all over again. Fine

Episode 5 freezes my xbox 3 times straight. Fine

Episode 5 finally looks like it will boot up.......instead a message pops up on the screen "Thanks for buying our game, syke we hate you" Episode 1 a New day all your progress erased again.

This is what you give us? Its a joke

Give us something that works or just stick to retail guys. I was actually going to rebuy the disc to show support and my love for the game but now no go.

We are looking into the issue of Episode 1 starting when loading your save. We hope to have a patch for this issue soon. In the meantime, you may be able to correct this by loading your save, and then selecting the last Episode you played (Episode 5) and then during the previously on, pause your game and return to the Main Menu. Load your save, and it should auto-scroll to Episode 5 and display 'Continue'. Continuing should return you to your last checkpoint. Alternatively, you should be able to access this checkpoint through the rewind menu, so please check this first by loading your save, scrolling to Episode 5 and selecting Rewind.

For your achievements, please recover you xbox live gamertag, and the achievements should credit the next time you unlock them.

The Walking Dead was one of the best games I've ever played so it really is a shame the team have caused much hassle with such technical issues.

I had issues almost every time a new episode was released so I also sadly won't be buying The Walking Dead on any other platform and certainly will be holding back from purchasing any future releases from Telltale until I've established if it has any stupid issues like those found in The Walking Dead.

Telltale - You've upset a number of Xbox players by waving 'achievement unlocked' in their faces to then never award those Gs, that's almost as heart wrenching as Episode 4 itself guys.

You've caused players like myself to stay up all night regaining these achievements, to hold back those tears when playing Episode 4... AGAIN. Now that's deep. You caused my sleepless night, you sods.

Should there ever be a Season 2, let's pray that it works as intended and any painful wait between DLC has the time used wisely to iron out tech issues.

P.S. Good luck with the award nominations, regardless of the rotten technical issues, they would be totally deserved.

We have contacted Microsoft in regards to achievements not crediting during the first few hours after an Episode was launched. We can confirm that Episode 5 achievements were made available 24 hours in advance to prevent this from occurring, and I apologize for any issues acquiring these achievements on past Episodes. This problem should not occur again.
