Alright, i uh, i am not sure if this is okay to post, but well, i didn't see any "Don't post youtube playlists containing music from the game" statements in the guidelines, so i assume it is.

Alright, okay. I don't know if Telltale will release a soundtrack of The Walking Dead The Game. And well, i would love that, considering that the music is simply amazing. But before then, i put on my gloves and decided to rip the music, and upload it to youtube for anyone who wants to hear it. So uh, yeah, just go to that link above and enjoy the music in it if you can!

    Man this just makes me want an CD/OST of this game. There are a lot of good tracks there.

    'It's Over' is still one of my personal favourites.

    Superb! You couldn't have timed it better either. The tune called "Ambient" (the pharmacy theme from episode 1) has been going around in my head all day. Glad I could hear it for real.

    Oh wow, this is amazing! The music is so good in this game!

    I've listened to "It's Over" so many times today now. Despite what the St. John brothers have been doing and planned on doing to you, I couldn't help but feel sorry for Andy whilst that track was playing. Just the way he was sobbing 'Lee' as well, knowing that he had indeed lost everything. Powerful stuff.

    Telltale usually is pretty OK with it (and sometimes happens to supply missing tracks if asked politely). Still, should there ever be an official CD soundtrack out, I expect y'all to immediately buy it. ;)

    Just as a courtesy, you could of course at least add the composer's name to those vids (Jared Emerson-Johnson).

    And Jake has yet to deliver it. ;)

    About the missing soundtracks, i mostly post only those that last more then 20 seconds, if there happens to be a track below that limit, that means i uploaded it because it's catchy and memorable enough to deserve being uploaded.

    And about episode 1's teaser theme, believe me do i wish to upload it, but i can't, because it's not in the game's files. :P And i am not exactly the professional at waltzing down to the teaser, and cutting out every single sound, because maybe it's possible for some people (Look up instrumental songs.), but not for me, the best i can do with windows movie maker is overlap tracks so the looping will sound better.

    Speaking on missing tracks again, that Zylinder refered to, i am aware that one or two tracks are missing that i am gonna upload. I am currently going through Episode 3 and noting every single music played. So yeah, episode 3 music is still in the process of uploading. But after i'll finish, and you still think there's something missing, then give me a sign! Memorizing tracks is a painful process because what i am mostly paying attention to in TWD is of course the amazing gameplay, and the only tracks i mostly memorize are those extremely catchy ones.

    I'll edit this post after i finished uploading the episode 3 soundtrack, or just post a new post if someone well uh..posts..after this..post.

    Dear god.

    Oh, and if it is really necessary, then sure, i can add in Jared's name to every single track.

    Haha, well, to be honest, it's not that much of an effort, you just write down a little "This guy made this and i don't take credit for this" sentence, and then copy & paste it to 37 videos, and more when they come along, took me no more then 3 minutes.

    And yeah, i agree, Jared is an amazing composer, i liked his work on Sam & Max and i still love it, and he definitely surprised me with how good his violin-themed music was.

    EDIT: Episode 3 sountrack is fully uploaded! Enjoy! Again, give me a sign if i missed something.

    "its over" , "not enough food","We're Golden" and "Clementine" are the ones that stand out most to me, especially "its over" it is the theme i most remember from the game

    Excuse me for another bump, but i thought it would be important news to post in this fellow soundtrack thread to announce that i'll start posting 400 days music very soon, starting from the 400 days trailer song (Not the launch trailer one, the other trailer) and the credits theme! I'll get to uploading the rest of the music hopefully by today, tomorrow, or if i'm just too unlucky then probably on the 5th July.

    You can check out the 400 days playlist as usual, on the first post of this thread.

    One of the best music composers I have seen in gaming in quite sometime, only one game was as good and that was a triple A game.

    That is a modified version of It's Over, the song that plays during the epic fight in Episode 2 and during sad part number 2 and character deaths 2 and 3 in Episode 3, I personally call the song in that part of Episode 4 Hanging Above Death because, well, you get the point.

    Yeah that is the track that I thought it was but it wasn't so I was so confused thanks for the help :)

    Anytime, since I sit around hearing the great music from the game I have become something of a expert about Jared Emerson Johnson's Walking Dead music.

    Although this is a ridiculously huge bump, i don't think it's too much of a problem, with the fact that i'm the thread's owner, i got a major update and i feel like this update is appropriate to post in this thread. The entirety of the soundtrack, from episode 1 to episode 5, 400 days as well, is now avaible for download, clear quality, ripped straight outta the game. You can find the download link on the very first post of this thread.

    As a warning, to those who are not experienced, the files aren't named very specifically. Files which have "linear" in them are the ones which end, files with "loop" are obviously set to loop, and don't end, "cs" are pretty much the same as linear, and "sting" are incredibly short pieces which are used to end certain kinds of loop songs, or they're just there to scare the hell out of you. The Amb_menu file are the sound effects that play on the main menu You might have to do some browsing to find the songs you want, and if you have trouble, then post here so i can guide you to a song.

    That said, enjoy the download!

    Yeah, dropbox removed the sharing link for some dumb reason. I can't be arsed to put up the collection of the music right now, i'll most likely do it again after season 2 finishes. Until then, if you have the game, you can use the telltale music extractor to get the music from the episodes.
