  • 3 month later? Really? How did you know? If it's true it's great, because I hate a large time jumps.

  • I cant wait to see how the game will play, im assuming walkers will be more of a challenge since your controlling a 9 year old.

Many months have passed since the events seen in Season One of The Walking Dead, and Clementine is searching for safety. But what can an ordinary child do to stay alive when the living can be just as bad -- and sometimes worse -- than the dead?

    Straight from the trailer.

  • I thhink that have passed more than 3 months... I think she must me almost 10 years old ;)

To sync the time with 400 Days Telltale have to make around a nine months jump. So, about ten years old.

  • If Clem has survived 9 months on her own, color me very impressed, considering in season one we had grown adults that couldn't survive half that time - while in a group.

Depends if Telltale want to sync up to 400 Days or leave that be. But like they said; Many months have passed. I don't think three months can be put as many.

  • I am saying 10, if it is 400 days in, and we assume the final episode was day 100 or very close to that number, then it would have been pretty much a year since season 1, so I am willing to say ten but I guess we will know for sure when it comes.

  • duh she learned from the best Lee use common sense

  • I'm guessing she's almost 10.

  • Please re-define that comment in a readable manner. Right now you address me as Lee. Secondly, where do you see me not using common sense? Your accusation has nothing to do with what we're discussing.

  • I'm pretty sure 400 days and Season 1 occur simultaneously.

Season One occur around 120 days from start to finish. And as 400 Days also are taking place from the beginning of the apocalypse. and 400 days into the outbreak. They probably have to make a nine months jump to match it up.

  • It's not THAT huge of a time jump, but for a 9 year old girl out there all alone that's crazy. If only Lee was still there to protect her.. :(

  • Puzzlebox, could you possibly offer any specifics on this? Three months? Nine months?

  • I say that because of that one scene in 400 days where you see two figures (Kenny and Doug) and it's mentioned at one point on S1. They don't start at the same time but they are intertwined. Correct me if I'm wrong.

  • It might be, because It says Season 2 is based on decisions you made in Season 1 and 400 days.

  • 9 at the oldest, she looks a lot older than the dairy but the lighting is different as is her expression and clothing. I think they've jumped forward to 400 days or there abouts. To me clem looked a bit older just by cutting her hair

  • Few months at most. We shall see.

  • I hope that is not the case. I would have a big problem believing she could survive so long by herself. The only person in the whole of the walking dead history to achieve that was michonne and that is because she had chainned walkers hiding her scent and tricked other walkers into thinking she was a zombie because the walkers with her weren't attacking her. I was hoping that the game would pick up from where we left her so we could see how she dealt with the mystery figures on the hill.

  • Lee taught her well. :) I too want to see how she managed to survive, but it's starting to look like a time jump from the beginning is guaranteed.

  • At most some months after season 1 ending, not more. It would be unrealistic if they did a year gap or something like that.

  • Gotta be 10 or 11. Who body is getting more developed and face is more defined. She's looking older so at least a year older.

  • Everyone's between 9-10 and I'm still wondering why she looks older than that. If it was only 3-9 months later, she wouldn't have grown so much, right?

  • My point exactly. Season 2 has to occur after 400 Days so that's 300 days atleast from when Episode 5 ended. She's at least 10.

  • But what The Last of Us did was cool though

  • Exaclty, I've wondered that my self. She looks much older than 9-10 years old. But TT said a few months, so I'm guessing she 10 at max... Despite she looking like 12 or 13 in the teaser trailer, at least in my opinion. May be just my perception taht's wrong, not trying to say TT made a bad job with the charatcher design ;)

Season one is 120 days into the zombie apocalypse that is when Clem was 81/2 roughly when Lee met her in episode 1 and by episode 5 she turned 9 by the end of 120 days. So in 400 days about towards the end of the game she should be 10 (400 days = 13 months & 2 week). S 2 E 2, she is 11 and by season 5 episode 1 or 2 she should be 12 yrs old. I may be wrong, I don't know how many months lapse in between episodes.
Season 2 is out now. I have the game download onto Xbox 360.
Math is not my strong suite.

  • Clem is almost 11

  • Well, at the end of the first season, Christa wasn't showing. When we came back, she was easily 8 months along... A jump of 5-6 months? THEN, there was the skip from the intro of the game to the beginning of the actual playing spot, which it states is a jump of 16 months... I'd say she is between 10-11...

  • She's 11 I think. In the end of the first season she was 9. And the season 2 is 2 and half years later, so she's 11

  • 11, confirmed by Sean Ainsworth in an interview.

  • As it turns out, she is actually 11.
The walking dead season 2 episode 2 backs up this statement with evidence. When Bonnie is looking through the windows and Walter goes to get food for her, She will ask you how old you are and you can say you're 11.

  • This thread is from November 2013, haha.

Hm? She looks like the average 11 year old to me. 13 year olds are much more developed than that, especially bodily-wise. Clem looks like she hasn't even gone through puberty yet, or is only at the very beginning stages of it.

But I do have to agree with you, she did look older in the teaser trailer for season 2, more so than she currently is in-game.
