Episode 2 release date discussion- No word from TTG on the subject of release date so far.
It is about 3 months since the release of episode one. I think it is fair to say that the episode is delayed, however due to lack of information, we have no idea how much.
The latest update was given along with 2 screenshots the 6th of December. The update promised a new update after the holidays. We currently do not know, if this update will be an actual release date or not.

It just hit me that TWAU came out quite a while ago! I didn't play it myself until October 20th or the 21st. I'm hearing faint knocking from episode 2, it'll facilitate the wait for TWD S2.
In addition, according to twitter - Dave Fennoy (Lee Everett) will be in E2 Smoke and Mirrors!
I was trying to hold off on playing until all the episodes were released, but I gave in a few weeks back. So luckily the wait hasn't seemed as long for me.
I hope it comes out soon loved the first episode!
There wasn't one of these threads in TWaU forums before because... I kinda hoped we wouldn't need one.
But all right, we'll sticky this one.
I didn't play this until the 20th or the 21st of October, so I wasn't expecting anything until December. Hopefully the next episode is out soon! One release will make waiting for the other so much easier!
Absolutly. If we are getting a new episode every month (TWAU the first month, then TWD the next, and so on), it will be awesome:)
Fortunately for us they have different staff for both games, so we won't have to go through a monthly switch.

Sorry, but that's not how it works. It's normal that Telltale doesn't just work 'on the next episode', but in different areas for different consecutive episodes as well. Naturally the writers are finished first for a given episode. No conclusions as to the imminence of a release can be drawn from that, unfortunately.

Terrific news... I can't wait for the whole series to be released. I'm planning on buying the bundle and playing through marathon style. If I can wait that long...

Honestly the "soon" from TTG holds up just as much as paper towel in a hurricane. Don't get your hopes up until a actual release date.
PS this is the first time TTG has attempted to release 2 games side by side. I would expect a reasonable level of delay in honest 4 to 6 week window until the process smooths out.
I given up urge to wonder about this date. I'm spending my time playing other games. I'm pretty confident one if not both will arrie this month. Remember that make videos every four to six weeks. This month will be a month since they released first one they still have least two week's before we complain.
I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure the end of one series has overlapped the start of another. I'm thinking Wallace & Gromit/Monkey Island, Sam & Max Season 3/Back to the Future, Poker Night 1/BttF, BttF/Puzzle Agent 1, Walking Dead S1/Puzzle Agent 2. Can anyone who's been here since W&G or before confirm or deny any of these?
I think it will be sometime this week, as in between the 11th and the 15th, its just a guess though, but ever since the first episodes release i figured 2 would be out about nov 15th
Only true one is Monkey Island's first episode coming out before Wallace and Gromit's last episode.

if episode 2 is done and they know a release date why not just tell people? i find it hard to beleive they dont know when its going to be released. they don't gain anything by keeping it a secret. in the end it only hurts them because people don't know when its coming out.
they probably have most of them done already. what have they been doing since poker night was released in april? look at the walking dead release dates there is no way they made episodes in 2-3 weeks.

I'm betting on episode 2 being released Tuesday or Thursday this week.
That's unlikely with no news from telltale yet at all. Maybe news this week and release next, but that's only wild guessing.

if the wolf among is like the release date like the walking dead is it might be December 16th or november 16th or the closest day to the 16 of every month or bimonthly
Debugging can take absolutely any time at all. It's because of this that they don't know exactly when it'll be ready on the PC and Mac. For consoles and tablets, it's all up to the playtesters of the stores. Believe me when I say Telltale are very thorough and they won't delay getting it out once they think it's ready.
