Pretty sure we're in for more than just 2 seasons.
I hope so.
I sure hope they will make more than just two seasons, I mean they pretty much hit the lottery with this game
I would say it depends how well season 2 is received. I'm just assuming it's going to be another game of the year hit, so yeah we'll probably get a third season. I'm also really excited to hear what new series they have planned. Their dream IP they are getting ready to announce.
If Season 2 succeeds in the same way Season 1 did, we will have a Season 3. Bet on it.
The important issue for me is whether they'll know when to quit, to go out on a high note rather than milk the franchise until its udders turn black and fall off.
Well, I do kind of want season 3 and I kind of don't, I don't because for a minor reason, I still want one anyways hopefully, but, I don't like it when I get emotionally attached to a character like Lee, and then cry at the end when they probably die, I know it's stupid to cry at the end, but I try my best, I don't really cry, just one tear fell, THAT WAS ALL I SWEAR, fine it was 2 D;
Are you for sure there is going to be a season 2 yet. All I have seen is a 1 second teaser trailer. I think valve took preorders for half life 3 for a few months too. Still waiting on that as well...
Valve has not taken pre orders for Half Life 3. Ignoring that they haven't announced it, it isn't even on their own store. :P
I'm only joking around.
I sure hope we'll get more and since the popularity of the franchise as a whole and how big a hit season 1 was then yeah I assume we'll get at least season 3 and maybe seasons 4 and 5 too!
I think that there will be a few more seasons, but I'm hoping that the comic doesn't go on forever. To me it would be great if the comic end by issue 150 or 200. So if Skybound is still cool with TellTale, I think the games could last the length of the comic. That being said, I think season 3 or 4 won't deal with Clem, but Clem could be the focus of future seasons as I see Clem being the video game version of Rick.
I agree, I'm guessing since we changed protgonists between season 1 and 2, I'm guessing if there are more seasons we will change them as well, even if Clem doesn't die in season 2 (I'm guessin she doesn't). So if we have a season 3, 4 or whatever I think Clem will appear in them, and maybe be part of the group, but no the PC
Maybe Season 3 + 4 could be a group of survivors that include Clem and season 5 could be the survivors separated and POV would be from all the different survivors.
Or maybe... All of the future seasons could have Clem as the protagonist because she's awesome?
That would be awesome
I think people will get tired of the Walking Dead if Clementine will be protagonist for many seasons. If they are going to make other seasons, that is.
I think it depends on how good Season 2 is. If it's near Season 1 level of greatness, then yeah, but if it isn't good at all, then no. Personally, I think it'll be great.
Only if she grows between each season
The comic is still in the early months of Year Two, so Clementine will still be 9 or 10.
Hard to say. Who knows where we'll be by the time S2 is over. But if the second season leaves us with more questions that have to be answered, than a third season seems inevitable.
(I just hope the series doesn't fall under the "three movie curse", where circumstances always seem to conspire to make the third instalment a disappointment. MAD MAX BEYOND THUNDERDOME, X-MEN: THE LAST STAND, THE DARK KNIGHT RISES, ALIEN 3, SPIDER-MAN 3, MASS EFFECT 3...the list is endless.)
I'm a believer, for some reason, that there isn't gonna be a 3 season. What I mean is: They've kept the stakes high through 5 episodes, and they'll sure do it in Season 2. But what about season 3? Will they be still able to keep players interested? And still provide heartbreaking drama and great story and characters? TWD, both the game and the series went far, but saddenly, everything ends. EVERYTHING.
