"So we unchain her and let her walk free?" Pascucci asked
"Not necessarily' said jacob "We are going to the country side in a few days after we gather enough gas. if you can prove yourself as a loyal member you can come with us"
"Seems fair" said Amanda "Now i REALLY need to take a piss so can you let me go" Kenny and pascucci walked over and freed her and she bolted outside
"Im going to go check on Tyler and see if he is up for dinner" said Jacob "After that il prepare the food. we found a lot of meat in the girls toilets where we found Miranda 30% of it is not tainted or smelly. im thinking of cooing that under a fire" he bent down to clemintine "Are you a vegeterain" Jacob asked
"No" said clem wondering what that was
"Good" said jacob and he, along with everyone else went out of the gas room

Is it just me or does charlie seem a lot like carl grimes (Comics) who becomes a tough young man after the sheer loss of life around him. be back in 5.... HOURS!
Hmm, we need a new system for people who start typing first, I think earlier someone posted a small comment he was writing and edited it in when he was finished.
Side note: It looks like the bold double-asterisks don't work if there is a space between the text and them.
For example, this, versus ** this **.
Also, I'd like to compliment everyone on a good job. It looks like you guys have gotten a good handle on Charlie's and Kenny's personality. There actions seem pretty consistent throughout, despite being written by different people. Clementine seems to be sort of switching, though. Sometimes she's pretty confident, and others she's pretty shy. I guess we need to sort that out, somehow.
Another point: Can someone write a summary of this Episode so far? That would be appreciated, since it's gotten so long.
Anyway, next chapter-post:
Clementine saw Jacob leave the room. He's nice. She had one last look around, and left the room as well.
The Church was full of activity. Jacob was heading towards the kitchens, (Do Churches even have kitchens? I don't know, I've never been to a Church. Can someone reply and tell me?) probably to cook up the food. Eddie and Jessica were nearby, having a chat about, from what Clem could make out, Amanda. The two were always together. Pascucci and Kenny had gone over to the pile of dead bodies that were on the far side of the Church. They were talking about something, but Clementine couldn't hear what it was. Tyler was sitting on a bench, playing with Miranda. The little pug kept climbing over him, and he flinched every time she put a paw on his chest, near the wound. Clementine walked over to him, looking at her own bullet wound. It still hurt, but she could ignore it now. Huh, that's funny. Broken bones don't get fixed that fast.
She sat down, next to Tyler.
"Hello, there, little lady. How are you?"
"I'm fine, thanks. My leg hurts a little, but not too much anymore."
"That's good to hear. We both got off lucky; they were only flesh wounds, and not major arteries or bones."
"Oh." Guess that explains it.
"Do you want to play with Miranda?"
"Yes, please."
Tyler picked up the little canine up with his big hands and gently put her in Clementine's arms. The pug began to lick her. It was strange, and unfamiliar, but in a nice way. Clementine never really had an opinion on dogs before, but this one was different. She's soooo cute.
"She's cute, but her licking makes me feel icky."
"That licking is probably cleaning you up, if anything."
She put Miranda down after a bit of cuddling, and watched her go off to Jessica. She thanked Tyler. He looked happy, smiling. He was no longer the sad man he had been when she first met him.
Clementine got up, and looked around again. Tyler headed towards Eddie and Jessica. Kenny and Pascucci were still at the pile. Charlie was near the entrance, and armed with his rifle, he stared warily outside, as if waiting for something. Clementine walked up to him.
She still hadn't gotten used to seeing him. It bothered her how cold and mature he could behave, despite being a small child. He would sometimes display childlike emotions, such as when they had found Miranda, but moments like those were rare. He was still staring out, the rifle looking much too big for him. Clementine reached him, and tapped him on the shoulder.
Charlie suddenly whirled around, smacking the rifle's butt into Clementine's left side. She fell down, shouting with pain. Charlie looked at her, shocked with what he had done, and dropped the rifle.
"Oh, I'm so, so sorry, I didn't mean-"
"Why did you hit me? I just tapped you on the shoulder."
"It was an accident, I didn't mean to do it, you startled me, I-"
"It hurts..."
Charlie helped her up, while she groaned with pain. Everyone was staring at her, with Kenny and Eddie running towards her.
"It's okay! Everything's fine!", she shouted.
Kenny and Eddie both hesitated, looking unconvinced.
Jacob came out of the kitchen, walking with a barbecue stick.
"What's going on out here?"
"Nothing! It's fine, it was just an accident."
Kenny looked skeptical, but calmed down.
"Are you sure? 'Cause if anything's wrong you know you c-"
"It's okay, it was just an accident!"
Kenny and Eddie looked at each other, and slowly turned around and walked back. Jacob looked at everyone, shrugged, and went back to cooking.
Clementine turned her attention back to Charlie. He looked worried and slightly shocked. It was almost as if he was going to cry.
"I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to do it, you just startled me, I should have known-"
"It's okay, you said sorry. Besides, it was an accident, wasn't it?"
"I guess..." He looked ashamed of himself. He reminded her of a little boy who lost his favourite toy. He stared down at his hands, with the rifle lying on the floor. "This is what Crawford did to me. I hurt people before I can think..."
Clementine tried to divert his mind from the subject. She looked outside.
"What were you staring at, outside?"
"Oh, well, I was waiting for Amanda." His expression changed, his face tightening. He turned his head to look outside."She went outside, and not to the toilets. I don't like it. We shouldn't have let her go."
"That's not true, she could help us. After all it was an accident with her too, right?"
"That's different. She was aiming to hurt Kenny. The accident was hitting you. Trusting her is a mistake."
"I trusted you, and you trusted me, right? We wouldn't have gotten this far alone."
"Again, that's different. Look, you can't just trust everyone you meet. We got lucky with Eddie and the gang. It's not going to stay that way."
There was silence after that.
Jessica walked over to them, calling out to Clementine.
"Clem, honey? Jacob's finished cooking some of the food. You should eat it first."
Clementine put her hand on her stomach. She didn't feel like eating.
"I don't feel hungry."
"That's because you've been unconscious for four days, sweetie. Without anything to eat, your digestive system has shut down. Your body is using up your baby fat right now. Come to think of it, you do seem thinner."
Clementine frowned. This hadn't happened before. They started walking towards the kitchens.
"It's okay, it might be a little hard for you to eat, but no matter what, swallow, alright? You have to get your stomach running. Besides, I heard you like meat."
Clementine nodded. She then remembered something. "It's not human meat, is it?"

NOTICE TO NEW PEOPLE: If you are continuing the story, make a post stating that you are going to do so, and then edit it to put in your story. Also, as a guideline, refresh the page before starting to check if people haven't gotten there before you. This should help prevent mix-ups.
Good job. This stuff is coming along nicely. There is both story progression and character development. Well done, everyone.
Note to people who are going to post next, I'd like to get another post in before the Episode ends, so it would be nice if you guys could hold off until then. Right now, 'The Land of Men' as a title hasn't really hit home yet, so I would like to fix that in a later post. You're free to do whatever you want, but I would appreciate it if there was room for one more post. Thanks.

Not a part of the story, but I can answer your questions. In the comics, Rick, Glenn, and Michonne find Woodbury in about a "little over a year" since the apocalypse started. Woodbury is about 50 miles away from Atlanta, which is pretty far away from Savannah.

The group startles. "Both of you :stay here!" Says Jacob to Jessica and Clem, jumping up and grabbing his gun from the table. He walks around the fireplace to the backyard, seeing Kenny, Pascucci looking down at Amandas body on the ground. When he realises that she is actually dead Jacob grabs his knife, saying "Kenny!! What the hell have you done?! I thought we discussed this - you decided this over our heads! I do not tolerate...".
"Woah, woah, woah, Jacob - cool it!" Kenny stutters. "It wasn't Kenny" Pascucci sides with Kenny "We found her like this - somebody just shot her... If you ask me: whoever did this to her: it's better this way". Jacob waves his head: "We go inside, it isn't safe here! What if we are surrounded by bandits?". Pascucci kicks in Amandas head to make sure she won't turn, then agreeing: "Alright, we go inside and guard this place, standin watch. Kenny and I go upstairs into the tower, you Jacob..."
Charlie watches them through a window going inside and locking the doors. As Charlie turms around he becomes aware of Jessica standing in the hallway, saying: "Where have you been? Dinner is served...". Charlie remains silent when all of the sudden the cracking noises of Amandas walkie talkie surprise them...

''Amanda!? I heard a gunshot, are you alright? Answer me, goddammit!'', the unknown man's voice starts cracking, ''Honey? Honey, are you there..?''
Kenny grasps the walkie-talkie out of Charlie's hands, '' Amanda's dead.''
Faint breathing is heard from the walkie-talkie, followed by silence. Ten minutes later, the group's gone back into the safety of the church and the man's voice is heard again, this time crying uncontrollably.
''What have you done to her?'' the man says trying desperately to sound calm, ''What have you done to her, YOU MONSTERS!''
A female voice is heard coming from the walkie-talkie, trying to comfort the crying man, but to no avail. Kenny looks at Jacob and Jacob looks back at Kenny. Kenny gives Jacob the walkie-talkie and Jacob starts talking to the couple.
''Sir, miss. We need to know your names, we can sort this whole mess out.''
The female voice replies calmly, ''My name is Sarah, and his name is Andrew.''
''Why did your friend Amanda talk about fooling us, Is this some kind of plan or trap?'' Charlie replied with an angry voice.
''Okay, I'm going to be honest with you. We've been following your group since you all decided to attack Crawford, we were eyeing on their settlement for quite a while now, scavenging for supplies, looking for holes in the fence.''
Sarah takes a deep breath before carrying on.
''And then your group just walks right in to cause a stir. The security has been doubled, the fences are all patched up and electrocuted 24/7, so now we have no chance of getting in, all because of your stupid actions.''
''Look, we don't want any trouble, we're all just trying to survive, just like you.'' Jacob replies.
''Oh, you've got trouble. When we find your pathetic little group, I am going to find the man who killed my wife, and I'll snap his neck like a--''
''What happened?'' Kenny asks.
Jacob looks at the display of the walkie, examining it closely.
Sorry, but who's Travis? Did you mean Taylor? if yes, Taylor is still too weak, maybe you meant Jacob? And the girl is Amanda - Miranda is the pug You mitht edit the post. Anyway, well done!

Clementine seems to be sort of switching, though. Sometimes she's pretty confident, and others she's pretty shy. I guess we need to sort that out, somehow.
I think this is okay. Clementine used to be very shy and now she begins to become more comfident, stating an opinion from time to time. I'd rather we keep changing her character to being more confident. Lee told her to be strong, so does Charlie. He encourages her in relying on herself as well as in not making herself too dependend of the grown ups. I hope she will become more of a dynamic person (like Charlie) rather than the passive observer she is at this point. What do you think?

"Okay, I have enough." Says Jacob with an angry voice: "This is too much for me. Too many bad things happened in the last two days. We have won very good company, the kids and Kenny, but people died and we have a bunch of assholes from different parties on our asses. This is what we are going to do: Everybody goes eati dinner and have a break. We are gonna meet in an hour in the cathedral to discuss everything: The secret-mongering..." Jacob looks into Kennys' and Pascuccis direction "The murder" looking at Charlie "...and the stuff we heard on the walkie - and YOU will tell us everything you heard before we showed up." Jacob again looks at Charlie. "And lastly: We are going to leave this place tomorrow. We need to discuss the preparations." "But we don't have enough gas." Kenny interferes. "We got 4 jerrycans full of fuel, that should do it. Ok, you can go now.". Nobody finds fault with Jacob and his final words.
The sky is dark and it is still raining outside - the storm is over though. The whole group is gathered in the cathedral, sitting around a fireplace. The windows reflect their colors onto the group. Clem watches every person one by one: Kenny glows in blue colors, Charlie in reds. He is holding Miranda tight and looking very grumpy. Tyler lays on the ground: Everybody looks either nervous or angry. The silence reminds her of an incident at school: she put mud into her friends pudding. Unfortunately she got caught doing it. The atmosphere now is exact the same as when she was sitting infront of the principals office: as if everybody got up to something, now waiting for the punishment. "So..." says Jacob being the main speaker. "As I said we will discuss the points I mentioned earlier. Everybody has the right to state an opinion. Or to remain silent. Here we go, starting with the first point: ..."

OFF TOPIC
Im suggesting that we do one person at a time during this Half interogation thing
Story
"Okay" jacob said "Kenny what happened with the woman. you said you killed her
Kenny sighed and after looking at everyone began "I thought i did. i didint shoot her but pushed her head into a wall, and stood on it. she escaped but i shot her in the thigh. guess i must have missed. on day 2 when me and pascucci where out for gas she saw us and snuck up on us. she stabbed me in the shoulder but the body armour deflected it and pascucci ran in and kinged hit her. we where about to tell you but you where all still focussed on the baby that we snuck her into the gas room and hid her in the jeeps every time someone came it. she was nocked out entire time that we had her. thats our story
"Okay" said jacob "Charlie and clem how did you find out
A) I wanted to go in the gas room to check it out (lie)
I herd pascucci and kenny talking about it (Truth)
I am still here and will be veeery tired in the morning. Anyway:
Story
"I... Er.." stutters Clem when Charlie interferes "Clem and I, we were playing hide and seek. This is how we found her. Yeah.".
Eddie shakes his head by saying "Clemmy told me that she has heard a secret talk between both of you. Maaan, when I found out I thought this can't be true, right? I came to you, Pascucci and I asked you if its true. You said the girl must have misunderstood, there was no woman. I thought we were bros, man, what's going on with you? We don't lie to each other". Pascucci crosses his arms infront of his chest, saying "I promised Kenny not to tell anybody - it was just for our best."
Jacob looks into the fire, taking a deep breath and saying: "I don't think I really now you, Pascucci. You haven't been lying to us ever - until now. We have to be honest with each other. Always. Without exceptions. What do you guys think about it.". He looks at Jessica, Eddie, Tyler and Clem. "We talk about you after we solved this." Jacob says into Charlies direction. "Tyler? What do you think? Is this how we want our group to be?" "No." says Tyler. "I hate every kind of lies. I never lied.". "I am angry with you, Pascucci." Jessica goes on "you hang around with Kenny a lot. He doesn't seem to be a good influence..." Kennys eyes become very big: "Miss?! I am fucking sorry but this isn't true! I've been helping you out all this time we've been together!". "He is right". Says Clem. Jacob looks at her very closely "He is a good man. Pleeease, don't tell him he has to leave! I like him. I like all of you!" Clem panicks because she is afraid the new group could tell them to leave. Eddie grabs Clementines hand, stroking it and saying "it's okay honey. We will forgive Kenny. But I am still very pissed, Pascucci. This wasn't cool...". "Ok, enough. I think we've earnt our lesson: we don't hide things from each other from now on. Though I cannot promise you that I am going to forgive you next time. We don't need this kind of shit here. So, Charlie. I told you to stay calm and do nothing. Instead you shot that woman from behind, like a dog. What the hell were you thinking?! When adults tell you something you're gonna listen! Jesus, Charlie: you KILLED her! This isn't a game!" Charlie pants, then looks at Clementine, then at Jacob, saying: ...
"She was planning to kill us" charlie began "she went outside and didn't come back after 15 minutes. i snuck up on her. that man was on the radio. he said to kill us and keep the pug. then she started talking about this woodbury place and a guy called the govener. i shot her in the head right after that."
SPOILER FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN'T CHECKED OUT THE MAIN RELEASE NEWS THREAD
Okay, it's been revealed that Omid is alive, which officially kicks out this game's canon from being plausible. Whether this is a good or bad thing, I cannot say. That is up to you guys.
However, considering that this had a very slim chance of making it through anyway, I think it doesn't matter too much. It is now possible for the game to go in a wildly different direction than the actual Season 2, but whether we do that or not, is again, up to you. Just remember that the main point of this thread is to have fun, and make a plausible, enjoyable story. As long as that guideline is followed, we'll all probably be happy. Make sure that you don't freak out if someone changes the story to go completely opposite from Season 2, as long it still makes sense and can be believed. Like we all agreed, there is no picking and choosing here, you have to roll with what you have.
Thanks for listening, and good luck to all. Have fun, since The Wait Is Not All That Remains.
I never really considered our story to be canon or even to possibly be used in Season 2. I'm just here for the fun of it, and I love the fact that we're all working together without arguing or fighting.

Good job so far everyone!

Sorry new here.
**Who should clem visit? **
UNRELATED STUFF
Is it just me or does charlie seem a lot like carl grimes (Comics) who becomes a tough young man after the sheer loss of life around him. be back in 5.... HOURS!
u just say Typing at the bottom
Scene Switch
Charlie was still looking out of the entrance. It was getting dark, and Amanda hadn't been back yet. Something's wrong, she should have been here by now...
The clouds were gathering. There was going to be a storm.

EPISODE 2 SUMMARY
hahaahah "human" meat
i did some reseach and churches have old kitchens or have a persists house nearby that has one
Clem sat down on the kitchen bench. it was a big and old kitchen and not like the ones clem would normally see. the carpet lead into this room and as it stopped revealed a kitchen area with plenty of places to prepare food. there was a door that led outside to a fire that jacob had prepared. the meat was hovering over a stick held together by 2 other sticks. clem had seen that setup before on tv. Jacob walked in, grabbed a plate from behind him and slid it over to clem. on it was a sausage and a lamb chop.
"Eat clem" jessica urged. so she took a bite of the sausage. it was surprisingly good and she was hooked
"Oh damn" said jacob
"What?" Tyler asked who had walked in and sat down
"im out of water" Jacob said "ive got nothing else to wash the meat with"
"Wouldn't the taps work?" clem asked and everybody looked at her "Its stupid. but it might work"
Jacob walked over and turn the taps on to find out that the water actually did work
"How did that work?" asked jessica
"Water tanks" jacob said. he walked outside and everyone followed. he pointed at the water tank and offered clem a High 5 witch she accepted they walked back inside and jacob began to wash more meat for other people
SCENE SWITCH
Charlie was worried. where had she gone? what had she done? was she okay? what was he going to tell everyone? the storm started to brew and charlie stepped outside. the cold hit him like a deer and to make matters worse it started raining. charlie decided to take a stroll around the church to see if she was out there. as he started walking he heard distant talking that got louder the closer he got. as he turned the corner he saw Amanda talking in the rain on a radio. Charlie hid behind cover and listened to the conversation
"There clueless" she said "The girl was a great help. she wanted me to stay"
"Great" said the voice of the radio "Woodbury will be pleased."
'What should i do next?" she asked
"Kill them while they sleep" said the voice on the radio "Keep the pug"
"Cool" she said glumly "do you recon we can trust Woodbury though. that governor is a bit of a nut job"
"Hes seen a lot of shit" the voice said "we cant trust him but as long as wee keep our cards close to our ches-" Amandas dead body dropped to the ground. charlie picked up the radio and walked back inside

Thanks.
Very well done!
I have an idea on how the episode should end but i think that about 15-25 more posts are needed before we can end this episode.
This episode is a bit shorter than the first one.
indeed more things have to happen.
Can someone check the timeline? This is the 4th or 5th month after the outbreak. Does somebody know when Ricks group meets Woodbury? Also: we are nearby Savannah, right? Where is Woodbury located?
Its not about when rick meets woodbury its about when its established. also its NOT the 4th or 5th month after the outbreak. its been a year. remember the conversation with the stranger? he says clem is 9 when she was 7 when the apocalypse started
)
Not a part of the story, but I can answer your questions. In the comics, Rick, Glenn, and Michonne find Woodbury in about a "little over a year" since the apocalypse started. Woodbury is about 50 miles away from Atlanta, which is pretty far away from Savannah.
Actually Clementine was 8 when the outbreak started. It's 16-18 weeks after the outbreak. I know wikia is not the most reliable source but here's the timeline: http://walkingdead.wikia.com/wiki/The_Walking_Dead_Telltale_Games_Timeline
Okay, great. Thanks!
Well, that's good to hear.
Edited it so it better fits the story

Still think it should have a tiny mention in it. its not like clem and the group would just drive down to Woodbury.
goodnight. hope to see some good posts
whoops
''The battery's dead.''

Sorry, but who's Travis? Did you mean Taylor? if yes, Taylor is still too weak, maybe you meant Jacob? And the girl is Amanda - Miranda is the pug
You mitht edit the post. Anyway, well done!
*Tyler.
I know of no Travis or Taylor.
Yeah, I meant Tyler
Continue with the story making a speech and the character statements
Sorry, but those names are confusing me! ; P
I'll get it fixed.
EDIT: The girl is Amanda right? I got that right? I got that right.
And now, I've got Jacob right. Didn't remember about Tyler being shot as well.
Ok guys, gotta go sleeping. Tomorrow is my first day of work at a new place. Hope to see many many posts in the morning

Story
"I am angry with you, Pascucci."
