I understand that; It is good that there is feedback to be had. However, they can still complete the episodes prior to release due to them fol… morelowing in some extent the written series as planned. Then releasing them on a monthly bases, and make changes to the already completed episodes based on what is posted for each monthly release, etc.. Perhaps even posting poles to that extent; granting them an idea on possible changes. It would certainly cut down on wait time, and perhaps it would even allow them to add and episode or two, due to them being ahead of the demand curve.
"Episode 2 release dates are NOT OUT YET!! Probable release is mid November to early December."
That is a direct quote from their post.. So… more.. Yeah.. It is early December.. Once it hits December 8th it is no longer early December.
5 days and counting ?? Lol.. Though I'm sure I'll see someone keyword "Probable" haha..
Telltale saying technically they've done nothing wrong isn't going to make the nasty mob of disgruntled customers go away. I know this from my work. The moment a member of management actually meets the disgruntled customer, listens to them, then politely lets them know the situation and how it can be rectified to everyone's satisfaction, that frown is turned upside down.
There was never any official estimate of November by Telltale games. If you saw November listed anywhere, it wasn't from Telltale. Don't tru… morest any dates given by any site that isn't backed up by an official interview with Telltale staff or an official press release.
Telltale has never given any release date estimates for The Wolf Among Us, and at this point, we're well within the usual Telltale release time frame. Two months is not unheard of for Telltale's games (the first few episodes of The Walking Dead were released 8 weeks apart and going back even further, the second episode of Back to the Future was released two months after the first).
As soon as Telltale gets the release date of the episodes back from their distribution partners (Sony and Microsoft, which control the release dates on their respective consoles), they let people know the dates. Anything other than that would be a guess, and Telltale has learned from past mistakes… [view original content]
I'm sorry to report.. Istibul died early this morning in a freak accident while trying to run up the stairs to see if there was any news about The Wolf Among Us..
While this technically doesn't count as old age.. I'm sure it was only a matter of "time" pun intended

Lol.
This and even than people seem to think the longer it takes for a game to come out the better the game will be, how about we all look at how long Duke Nukem Forever or whatever it was called took and how BAD it was despite all that time they could have been polishing
No. I want a professional release without delays. As in, completed prior to the first episode's release; with a planned monthly release schedu… morele.
And I wouldn't mind having gameplay time being drastically increased. 1 hr of play for every month of waiting is stupid.
Rofl.. Honestly who really cares about up or down.. I'm willing to bet not much thought is put into it.
That is funny though.. I get 5 just for saying I noticed that also, haha..
TTG gal actually.
What Puzzelebox actually said, was that they hope to have something. I also hope to get my mom a big present this year, but that doesn't make it a valid promiss:)
(Internal monolog voice while writing in a journal)
10:12pm still no sign of The Wolf Among Us Episode 2. I fear that the team has abandoned the project. My fingers grow tired traveling the internet and scavenging what little information the is.
..... Will we ever find the killer and rescue Fable Town?

I would like to announce to everyone how itchy my nutz are. Also, since this waiting thing is new to me and I feel like tearing my hair from playing the walking dead do you guys think the stories were worth the wait? I mean I didnt wait because i got into after all the episodes were out but through the whole game if I had to wait for gameplay as good as that, I'd probably forget that I even waited to begin with. Rawr?

When I first played episode 1 I never believed that we would have to wait this long before the release of the next episode. If I had known,I think I would have waited until at least the first two episodes were out.I would love to know what work remains to be done on episode 2.I wish they would tell us!
Journal entry 2:
I stumbled upon a Facebook post. The mundies seemed angry that the post only announced that The Wolf Among Us was coming t… moreo iOS.
Many comments pleaded and demanded word on Episode 2 and questioned about the release.
My finding have sent me into doubt in TellTale Games. I myself wonder how long we shall wait.
How far does this rabbit hole go? Will it continue to lead to more boring and disappointing announcements?
My tiresome fingers shall continue to wonder this abyss known as the internet in search of information on The Wolf Among Us Episode 2.

This is the first and last time I will buy a season pass in advance, I don't expect to wait 2 months for 2 hours of gameplay. I know, I know, they take time to make and perfect, etc, but I don't get the silence from TTG. At least a comment saying 'we're fixing this, there's a problem with that', or 'we can't say anything about release times or schedules due to disclosure agreements from our third party partners'.
I will just be buying s2 of TWD and any other future releases of interest when all 5 episodes are out and on a Steam sale.

Thumbs up for that, lol. I noticed this also.

call my grandchildren if i die of old age before ep2 release and tell them to make an angry post here
It would lead to double the total development time also.
And efficiency is very much part of the successful concept.
Stop talking about it, you encourage the kids.
What's their number?
Read the top of that post. It's not exactly an authoritative text, because it's coming from... wait for it... Jennifer and me.
Aaaaaaaaaand it gets down voted as well
I'll bet money their not born yet.
I get the hyperbole, but have to ask: Istibul, is there actually a chance that you're dying of old age this month?
those damn kids Xp
Is there a chance that he's dying of old age this week ?
Ha ha, no, let's not exaggerate. A release in November was what we wanted.
But, well, I appreciate the info at least and thank you indeed puzzlebox.

Lol.
Wait, does that mean the ep2 launch is imminent?
THAT doesn't mean anything. Though it could be that would be unrelated.
What the telltale dude really meant by "update by the end of this upcoming week" is "see you next year"
lulz..

Vainamoinen chose to not respond
,Warden will remember that .
Come on downvote me... You know you want to;)
Vainamoinen is not work for TTG. So he does not know anymore than us. Everyone who works for TTG has a sicker saying "Staff".

It's the truth.
Telltale just uploaded this video talking about the Fables universe

you don't get the full TWAU experience through iOS.
So how are you guys holding up?
Keep these up please, they will keep me entertained until ep2.

Still breathing!
I know where you're coming from. This is the hardest part in episodic releases of games..
