this is so painful. i cant wait any longer, i pre-ordered this game and its killing me waiting for the second chapter, i loved the first chapter so much!
It really is a joke, could of put $20 into my gas tank instead. No reason it should be taking this long. I'm sorry but over 2 months is wrong, especially when they choose to not give us an update at all. All we have is a dumb trailer that's been up for a month that says coming soon... Cute telltale, really cute.
Echo chamber here - I regret getting the season pass for this game. I was going to get Walking Dead, Season 2 with a season pass - but now I won't bother buying it until it's entirely released and I can pick up all episodes at once.
So, apparently, TWAU Episode One is being released on IOS today. Maybe that's what they were waiting for? Because they said and IOS version would be avaliable by the end of the year, and they might have thought it would be awkward to release with only three episodes. I believe TWD was only released on mobile after the last episode was released, but maybe they didn't want to wait until February to release on IOS?
Not likely. If the episode was ready, we would have it now. If we are lucky, the episode is submitted for certification to Microsoft and Sony right now, wich would take about 2 weeks.

On another search I came across a Facebook status given by TellTale, further going into detail of the iOS app. Immediately I indulged in what I thought was wasting my time but came a vague hint that TellTale will be giving us something on Episode 2. But what? A trailer maybe? Or even a release date. But still could be wishful thinking.
With our small community divided tensions are high. The well measured veterans of the infamous TellTale episode wait and new recruits growing restless to walk the mean streets of fable town again.

Nice.. As for the wait.. Until this moment I was focusing on how long THIS wait was for what little we get in return.. Be it news from telltale, or such little gameplay time for 1 episode.. GamerGod help us all if this happens every time..

Well, simply too long. I guess i'll wait for TWD S2 too be full on mostly on sale. So i'll stop wasting my money in advance. 20$ for 1-2 hours per 3 months... too much
Too late for me sadly.. At least on the wolf among us side of things.. Already purchased my season's pass..
But as for the walking dead.. I don't think i'll pay anything for that beyond what I already have with season 1 and the dlc.. Might be different if we had regular updates, even if that update is regarding a delay.. Or if gameplay was increased.. And if that 3 months was less, haha.. Then I would feel more appreciated as a customer and thus want to support them with my dollars in advance.. Not feeling that now.. So I'll find other means.. Wink wink**

The silver lining to this, is once they start releasing TWD again, the two month wait will hopefully subside. It'd be nice if the postings of new episodes ended up something like this:
Jan: TWD
/Feb: TWAU
/Mar: TWD
Etc., etc. That would at least make the waiting time between the episodes feel less... Eternity like.
Seeing a lot of disappointment from people who purchased a season pass... I did as well, and I have to say I am not terribly upset by this wait. I would admittedly be happier with news regarding the next episode's release, or with said episode itself, but I do not regret purchasing the season pass. I like the game I have played so far, I want to support the company - and I can find other ways to occupy my time while I wait for more of what I have enjoyed. I have other games, I have books, I have various TV shows... patience is not a hard commodity to come by when diversion is so readily available.
