I am feeling regret by support telltale by buying the game directly
Seriously, I pre-order the game, cause I love it and wanted to play right away

I agree, Steam is also faster for downloading the game or at least it isfor me anyway.

What did you expect? Their servers are overloaded at the moment, give a little while, and then it'll be working perfectly.
Think I'll stick to Steam in future. Try to support them and get a kick in the teeth for it. Thanks Telltale.
I'd actually be curious what set of H/W the DRM servers are on. If they do in fact share the same bandwidth as the download servers, that's probably a bad idea. Might want to pass that on to the network engineers.
It looks like Telltale should invest more money on upgrading their servers... Or buy more. :P
Still isn't acceptable when Steam could handle authentication perfectly fine.
This is a poor customer experience regardless how much they might try to explain it away.
