4:14 Sure, but you know what else he coulda done? He coulda killed Ben and run with Lee up to Christa and Omid. He wanted to die.
4:28 What does Lee's arm have to do with anything? Also, I played the only part where it might be possible to see someone moving through the walkers again and again, and there wasn't one. You're in pretty deep denial. And even if that WAS there, and that WAS Kenny, then why would the window even matter?
4) 4:14 See that row of windows? Kenny could just open a window and escape. Stop at 4:28 and look at Lee's left arm. Play the video again and there you see a figure running away.
4) Pause at 4:28 and LOOK near Lee's left arm. Then unpause, STILL looking towards that area and you see a figure running away. I'm not in denial, speciallt because I posted this video on another forum about Kenny, and like, 3 or 4 people saw the same as me. What're you gonna say, it's a group hallucination?! By the way, the windows matter because it coulda've been the escape route after we SAW Kenny running away.

Um... Dude, that actually wouldn't be unheard of. If you put the thought into someone's head, and they're feeling great emotions, they'll see it. Also, I did as you said, and if you mean Kenny disappearing into the herd of walkers, then I understand, but you're wrong. That's where he would've died. Give me the exact SECOND where there's this figure. Lee's left arm doesn't mean anything, unless you mixed up left with right. Because everywhere his left arm is for the rest of the video, there's building, as far as I can tell.

It really really looks like Kenny running off screen:
watch:
1) nothing on the left side of Lee:
2) something on the left side of Lee: somewhat blurry but on top something that looks like Kenny's hat
3) still something on the left side of Lee: where the hat was ist the last bit of Kenny's hair and below the clothes don't look as blurry as in the image before
4) nothing at the left side of Lee again:
If you watch it in motion it looks like Kenny running, it's really hard to stop the video between these shots, but now you know what you're looking for. And if you're honest you'll admit it's not mass hallucination. One explanation could still be a "glitching Kenny". But that would be a big coincidence. Of all the scenes, Kenny happens to glitch off-screen in the scene where he supposedly dies?

Um... That's not a glitch. That's the last time they intended you to see him... He turns and walks away. He still would die... I thought you meant when Christa is looking down at the horde of walkers.

Perhaps The Stranger put all the lurkers he killed in the Marsh House in there (no way the Marsh House was completely empty when he settled in, he must have killed all the lurkers and piled them somewhere), and then he found Kenny somehow, took his gun, knocked him out (thinking he killed him, after all, the Stranger was out for revenge against Kenny) and put him back there.
yeah so just replayed the last episode again and there is definitely something up with the mystery door next the bed. There is blood across it… more (and the Stranger doesn't appear to be bloodied himself), and when you try to open it the game doesn't let you and Clem tells you that you need to go. You can definitely hear a dragging sound before you enter, and I'm assuming the Stranger comes out from that room to talk to Lee. Don't understand why TellTale would give you the option to open it when you can't, unless there is something up. That was the only door other than the exit that you are given the option to open, so I think there is some significance there. Whether it is Kenny is still unknown, but we can't deny it outright. I have a feeling that the more we keep posting accurate theories; the longer telltale will take to release the next episode. Same with TWaU. Probably trying to change their story up a bit.
There are literally hundreds of moments in the game when you can interact with things and Lee either says something before touching it or he touches it and puts in back down. Clem does the same thing at least 15+ times in the first episode. When she is searching for food on the campsite she picks up a doll and puts it back down. When she's walking to the campsite you can walk to a grave which she just stands over. . .
According to this theory every single thing that you can interact with obviously has some well-thought out and intentional place which clearly is not true. I am sorry again for debunking the theory but this theory is quite literally a story made up out of pure nothingness. A dragging sound? If the dragging sound is "obviously" Kenny why couldn't it be the stranger hiding before Lee came in? Why couldn't it be a walker in another room?
The same gun ? Its a animated video game, Im sure every pistol looks remotely the same (don't have to prove me wrong I am sure there is an example of different pistols but you get my point.)
Its a very cool story. I think its awesome and I wish there was more. But if ANYONE actually thinks this is a plausible theory. . . please stop being so gullible.

That sound is just a random sign of habitation that sets that room apart from every other room in the hotel. How else are they supposed to explain how Lee found the right room on the first try?

I really don't feel like getting into one of your "kenny is dead, hurrrr" debates... I'm apathetic to whether he lives or he doesn't, but yes; this is a pretty solid theory.

Plausible is not the right word. You are right. It is a theory. I think it is the other people, not you, who are convinced this actually happened are the ones I am directing my comments too. Like I said it is a cool story that makes sense, clearly this did not happen.

On Kenny's fate? Yeah. On this specific thing? No. That's when he disappears, man. That's clearly him. No one disputes that. It doesn't mean he survived, though.
I mean Stranger did have a reason to hate Kenny. "That asshole in the ball cap." You can tell he didn't like him and had motives for the group and Lee.

Yeah I remember when I entered the hotel room, been playing for the first (and only time) I really heard something falling, but semehow didn't pay a lot of attention. Also that second door was strange to me? Why were they tied? I found it really odd, but I still carried on not paying much attention, since you can really see some strange things being done in video games, for which you don't have an explanation. All in all. an interesting theory, but let's wait and see.
I heard the "bump" during the first play-through and I guess I don't have as colorful an imagination as the 14 year olds on this board. I assumed the bump was to add excitement/ let the player know we were in the right place and getting close. Logically, and correctly, the bump was simply the stranger either hiding or shutting the door on Clem.

I don't understand why you have to make it personal. It's just speculation. Speculating on different possibilities for the future of this game is one of the reasons this forum exists. Calling people "14 year olds" for theorizing and discussing aspects of the game is ironically kind of juvenile. I'm not sure about this whole mystery door thing, but I do think it's an interesting and creative/imaginative idea.

I find it hard to believe the Stranger just happened to be carrying around a pocketful of bullets for that exact gun, but I guess if the gun is really common as someone said, it's somewhat plausible. I also question why the Stranger wouldn't just kill Kenny right then and there rather than dragging him into the room for some reason. Did he want to guilt trip Kenny like he did Lee or something?
I don't see much significance to the noise either. It was just meant to signify where the Stranger and Clem were, since Lee obviously had no idea what room they were in, and there needed to be something to let him know. Not saying that proves that it wasn't what this theory says, but it just doesn't seem like compelling "evidence" or "proof" when you consider it's just a narrative device.
Kenny getting there first from the inside of a walker filled building or an alleyway/whole town full of walkers also sounds rather unlikely to me for a variety of reasons. But then again, given how weak the writing was in episode 5 in retrospect (sad, but true), that's probably exactly what happened.
It is a nice theory but it comes all down to that there is no actual visually seeing proof, witch comes to that, if this theory would become true in S2 lot of people will come very sceptical about this. Yeah all Kenny guys will start sing Hallelujah, but lots of other people will not see this scenario eye to eye. It is still just an fan theory. That gun that and the noise is not enough to convincing me.
I really want ken to be alive but theres something about this theory that dont convince me, ok if stranger has kenny's gun that means he didn't have a gun or he used all his bullets with his own gun, ok out of bullets he knocks an exhausted ken, lock him in that door and take his gun, ok now lets focus on kens gun, if im not mistaken he didnt have enough bullets in it, even if lee gave him his bullets im sure he used them all trying to escape, what im trying to say is, if thats kens gun why was it loaded? Now some people will say, maybe the stranger had some bullets, if thats the case i think he would have used his own gun, i agree with most of this theory but the gun part i dont know
So because we don't know the fate of kenny, and there is a door and a sound... and a gun... the sound behind the door couldn't possibly be made by anyone other than the owner of the gun who happens to be kenny. is that idea?

Does speculation not deserve critique? All I did was ask if my understanding of this theory was correct. I admit that the way I did so was meant to bring focus to the reality that anyone living or dead could have be behind that door, and there is no reason to believe that Kenny has anything to do with it. Maybe it was that creepy guy's wife's body... Or maybe his undead kid.. Or maybe it was Michael Jackson... Why Kenny?

I hate being a fence sitter, but Kirbinator is kinda right: Really the theory only comes down to a noise, a door, and a gun.

"clearly this did not happen," I'm just saying, prove it. I don't believe this theory is true, but I can't say it's false as you have tried to do.
On Kenny's fate? Yeah. On this specific thing? No. That's when he disappears, man. That's clearly him. No one disputes that. It doesn't mean he survived, though.
You can also tell that he never got his chance at revenge.
The great mystery of the mysterious door is immediately solved as soon as you ask yourself, "where was the stranger when I first entered the room?"
You realize he was making a joke, right?
It's really more of a hypothesis than a theory.
Bump cuz this is a cool theory
Cool theory, it is pretty convincing to me.
To all the guys arguing the gun is just a copy-paste, so what?
There's still the dragging part.
