Or just, like, have one of your current employees take five minutes to say, "We're working really hard guys, I promise! We've had some issues with development and we're really sorry about the delay. Here's a discount on Sam and Max for those that bought TWAU prior to it being discounted!"
When does summer start? Here in Russia it starts on the 1st of June. Just curious, because winter in Russia starts on the 1st of December, but in USA it is 21st of December.
And pardon me if my English is bad.
Hmmm, my worry in all this is that TWAU didn't sell well and they are concentrating on TWD Season 2 now.
I really hope that's not the case, because I think episode 1 on TWAU is brilliant and this game deserves Telltale's full attention.
If there are some other issues why it's delayed and Telltale isn't allowed to talk about it (like mentioned earlier by Silent Dan, if it's some Xbox Live or PSN thing), I think it would still be nice if Telltale would at least say something like: "Sorry guys for the delay but it's out of our control right now and we're doing our best to get it out".
Actually, that's not a bad idea. Devil's Playhouse was magnificent, and it's probably not selling in huge numbers at the moment, so they wouldn't lose much by saying something like "Dear TWAU Season Pass customers: clearly, we owe you something to play, because you paid us. Sadly, TWAU Ep 2 is taking a lot longer than we expected, and as much as we'd like to cut corners and just release it, we can't abandon our commitment to quality. Here, have a copy of Devil's Playhouse. We hope it will provide many hours of enjoyment while we sort out some unexpected hiccups with Ep 2, which, we assure you, is really awesome and absolutely worth the wait, we promise."

If I were to venture a guess, for when the release date of episode two will be. I would most likely say during this month (January). I don't think telltale would want to leave the gap between episodes any more than four months. I just hope that this isn't going to be a consistent thing and they will release episodes three, four and five every other month from then on.
Someone wants give them more time to polish the game...
I said they wouldn't have it on Friday. It's just another excuse to drag their fucking feet. To say "release date in 2 weeks or 2 months" they broke their own promise. Past the 10th. It's not early anymore. I don't know where they got to read months at, but past 10 days is no longer early. It's fucking late.
I've been on the patient side for a while, but without any updates really it's hard to stay patient. And when the game is as good as this Telltale shouldn't be surprised when everyone gets impatient and freaks out. After all, they're the ones that like to throw us cliffhangers, lol. But seriously, it just sucks to go to sleep thinking "tomorrow might be the day!" and then being disappointed every morning. I'm jumping off the patient boat and joining the people asking for more updates every now and then. It would help us all, and I don't think it'd be too hard. In any case I'll be happy when I get to play it.
This is just bad marketing and treatment to the fans. Not even a single tweet of TWAU has been shown on the twitter page and I've been checking everyday. If they told us they were delaying it then I would be less irritated but not saying a damn thing after three months shows to me they don't care about a fan's opinion.
I think TTG are waiting for the moment just before a giant shitstorm breaks off and then they will say:" Surprise, surprise! It's released right now!" And everyone will be like "yeah!" and noone will ever give a shit again about 3 months pause between the episodes. They are probably trying out how long they can wait between two episodes so that they know how much time they can take when they are working on 4 games simultaneously.
The next time we vote on "Best" and "Worst" company. I know what I'm voting for Tell Tale. Only reason they won best studio during the height of Season One, walking Dead.
My theory is kind of similar. The government is sponsoring the developers to make some "addictive" games. They wanna know, how long can a person struggle without such product before getting completely mad, so that it can be used as a weapon of "mass" destruction some day.

Seriously, the waiting is driving me insane...
This kinda differs from my theory. My theory is more about market research and you're theory is on the same level as Nazis on the dark side of the moon and Aliens, diguised as humans, as our leaders. I see the similarity, but - no offense - I think you should take some pills...
Or maybe it's just the waiting that already completely drove you insane?

That's not happening. That's a false reality you embrace. If you can't accept, they can't get their fucking shit on time. It's a nice one. It's look at the cold reality. It's the 10th Of Jan. They said "Early Jan Update" ...again. This is soo embarrassing for a mighty titan company to be brought to their knees. For me at least. I won't forget.
No matter how good these games are. No game is worth playing one every four months, for an hour thirty minutes. Their ego has got the best of them. No communication. No anything. Not one sentence expect "We fucked up, we're working hard..can't give you details..."

Yeah. This delay has got embarrassing at this point. I'm one of the more patient customers they have, and if this is a one-off scenario i'll get over it, but it's not good enough to make people wait this long and give so little in the way of an explanation or updates..
I still don't like the thought of TWD and TWAU being prototypes of weapons of mass destruction. I have to think about that, but the beautiful white of this padded cell around me is distracting me. Maybe one of the voices in my head is able to concentrate.

Maybe we should start a page on FB. You know same way fans were upset at Bioware for ME3 ending. They made a group. They added signatures. They sent it to them their sponsors. Perhaps They need something like this.

That's a good idea. But I don't have the time to administrate such an important FB-page. Would you create such a page? I'm sure it will spread like a virus.

Have moderators stopped regulating this board? I understand peoples anger but this one guy would have been banned ages ago on any site I moderate. Why is he being allowed to cuss as much as he wants? Are there no rules for this Forum? I mean I could take one post of it. Fine I get it, you are angry. This has been going on for awhile and I don't see where a moderator has addressed this. Obviously if you have deleted posts this person isn't getting a clue and needs to be removed. Its like I'm watching the whole of TellTale unravel in front of my eyes.

If that's my right, I'll use it. Also, good for european countries, a lot of them got laws that'll force Steam to refund. That's what I found out at least.
I'm a member of Move On. A political group created in 1998 in response. Bill being impeached. They are community activist's joined. Perhaps I will write a letter on lack of response. Just to see how many signatures it collects. They send it to all their members. Those decide what to sign. Perhaps I could add their horrible customer service and non responding to claims they got money, but never delivered.
Even when you tel customers to their face, their being fucked over. 80 men. I'm good from right here.f face Weget lextures on paitence and qua… morelity games. It's all ULLSHIT. No one needs six or a year to make a great quality game. I just don't like people lying saying their is. spreading false hero.
I already have a sonnet about the wonder that is TTG composed to be posted exactly 2.5 hours after the release of WAU E2 OR WD S2E2... whichever comes first... and a template post about how much they suck to be posted 28 hours after said release.
While it is an absolute joke at this stage that the second episode has not been released yet, let alone an actual informative update. I expec… moret that all the people coming on here moaning each day will be the very same people coming on singing the praises of TT & TWAU as soon as the episode is released. Then, just like deja-vu, they will be back on moaning again for an update and release date of episode 3. All you are doing is feeding the frenzy that I suspect TT are purposely creating by keeping information close to the chest. (very cheap and effective marketing)

you better lose yourself in episode 1 cuz episodes come once in a lifetime
We'll talk again in 2016, when the third episode of TWAU will be released

Does anyone know if there's a way to get a refund if bought on Steam?
Just message a moderator about it.
Don't even bother...
