Phyre's right. He chose to stay maintain his wolf nature rather than trying to learn or train himself to fly or become the wind. But his father's trait did come in handy by saving himself from drowning and you know, blowing those devastating winds. And Bigby is known as a God.
I never thought of it that way...But i just wanna add that he CHOSE not to have all those abilities,because he hates his father for abandoning his mother.

He doesn't need glamour because of the knife, given by Snow and he accepted only because of her, but he does have the ability to do so himself. He had the capability to fly and become the wind but chose not to because of his father claim that winds always change. But there's only one thing that won't change about Mr. North.
Well unless he doesn't have the ability in the game or they messed up he should have been able to recognize Faiths blood based on having smelled it from the head. So the blood on the railing should be from someone else.

It's also implied that her head was severed due to powerful magic. It's likely that magic prevented him from being able to smell her blood.
