Since we're on the subject of Anadel. I think "Are We Afraid/Cities" would make a good credit song, more specifically the "Cities" portion of the song at around 3:50.

    Are We Afraid/Cities

"I can see the light that leads you here – soundwaves, rising fear – don’t believe that it is not enough – the city wakes – well hold the fire, its ours to take."

  • Did the trailers for season 1's episodes have different bands doing the music? I'm wondering if they'll be able to pull off the same level of quality like "All That Remains" trailer for the next 4 episode's trailers.

  • What is the name of the track that plays when Clementine shoots or leaves Lee? It is different to the sad version of alive inside.

  • That isn't it, but thanks for trying. I'm talking about the tune that plays when she is shooting him or leaving, not before or after.

They show it in the season 2 recap.

  • This was my favourite track in 400 Days thank ya

  • Back when you won the NBA title? :D

    Brings back memories

  • I thought this track was the creepiest in 400 days and PS: I loved Wyatt's story.

  • So much win in this son.

    Yet so much cry.

  • It's called The Last Moments. I've posted it on here before. You should be able to find it.

  • My fav lines: "I will punch your eyes"-Eddie / "Hey, Wyatt, I ate paste when I was a kid, doi!"

  • What..but..this is exactly what plays during that scene, i even checked..

  • Good work, this suits season 2's theme perfectly. It has those really foresty sounding instruments, the lyrics just seem really appropriate, I think this might show up in episode 2, or 4, depending on which has the majority of war and character deaths. I would say that it might turn up in episode five, but Telltale tends to blow us away with the surprisingly unique finale music like they did with 'Take us back.'

  • I'm just imagining a travel montage near the end of the game with Clem and the only other survivor of the season going north while 6:00->7:54 plays. (maybe Kenny and Clem are on a boat, or Eddie/Luke and Clem are on a bike or a horse)

This would play at the end of the episode if Kenny dies this season.

  • "Clementine Suite" was one of those songs that stuck with me immediately. Same with "In The Water." Made me feel so many different things. Got me into a bunch of Anadel's stuff too. They've just got that sound about them that works. So many great songs with violin/piano accompanying. Definitely several other songs that'd fit right into TWD.

  • Well, aside from a few of the bigger ones that have already been mentioned, such as "Armed with Death" and "Sacrifice", both of which I love, another I can't forget the Bandit Attack music from Long Road Ahead. I don't know why, it was just the perfect music for that scene, I thought.

Another one I love is "I'll cover you," from 400 Days. It's the one that starts up as soon as the sniper at the pitstop starts shooting at Russell and Nate. It reminds me a lot of the aforementioned "Bandit Attack", but faster paced and more urgent. That music helped make the scene, I felt. And besides, it reminds me of Nate. What's not to love about that?

  • I see all these dislikes...

I smell the stench of trolls. Who else would be so soulless and dumb to dislike posts talking about how beautiful The Walking Dead's music is?

I liked this song the best out of S2E1. I think it sums up the episode if not the whole series feelings really well. Its a kind of variation of the main title theme as well. This song plays at the scene when Clem wakes up on the bank of the river after escaping Winston and is cold, hungry and on her own ("lost"). I also was a big fan of the quiet reflection scenes looking at the wrecked campground boat, grave and dead walker etc. I enjoyed it much better seeing the sadness on her face and knowing what she was thinking instead of some monologue spoken outloud.

Looking forward to hearing more of this type of music in the soundtrack and also more scenes that evoke those kinds of emotions again.

  • Thanks for posting this here.

  • I like this one a lot. It plays after you get rescued by Luke & Pete in the forest. It's great how it goes from a peaceful theme, how you met these two nice guys who want to help you, and then the music suddenly goes to being tense as soon as Luke spots the bite.

  • Not as badass as Armed With Death, but just as intense, and far more dark.

  • <3 !! I love it!

Taioo I'm a sucker for piano music. There is much skill with this one.

I don't know if this has been already posted but I really love the folk music that Chuck plays at the train in episode 4.

It's so sad and it was... perfect for that moment.

Man, you always need a folk musicist in a zombie apocalypse!

  • Don't worry about re-posting, as long as it isn't excessive.

    This thread will never die!

  • I liked the Kenny song a lot. As soon as that song started I knew that Kenny was going to do something drastic that I wouldn't like. I liked how it suddenly swells right as Kenny makes the decision to close the gate. It's a nice track.

The song is amazing, and the scene it plays over is amazing. Nothing more needs to be said about that one. Kenny's sacrifice music... haters gonna hate all they want, I think it's a great track to go along with a great scene(or two).

  • One of the first things that I noticed about SE2 was that the music was louder and seemed to have better quality. Now I pretty much love all of the songs in "All That Remains".

  • The music is really eerie. It unsettles me, especially the beginning. It just has that ... dead and lonely tone to it. I'm glad some one else shares the same opinion. :)

Yeah I think In The Water is great. Also, for any other guitar players on this thread, here's the only tab I could find. The rhythms are way o

The fact that it's supposed to play but doesn't actually makes it creepier for me.. it adds mystery, almost as if the game itself doesn't want this creepycreep to be heard.

  • It kinda reminds of that little tune from Friday the 13th.
