Is it Dum or Dee in the chair?

edited February 2014 in The Wolf Among Us

Just a thought that struck me, do we actually know that it's Dee that walked into the Trip Trap? Toad said that you'd have to see them almost naked to tell them apart (a figure of speech I know). I never looked for any individual characteristics so unless someone can correct me, how can we be sure which one of them it is?
There's nothing I can think of that would make one more valuable than the other to have in the chair, but it could make some small difference at least. We are only one episode in, anything's possible.

It's Dee, it says so. Dee had blood on him, Dum didn't.

  • I'm still not sure though. Toad's line wad very emphasised.

  • Dee.You can actually see the difference between the two,if you are as obsessed about this series as i am.I just love crime mysteries OwO

  • It is Dee, there is Evidence after chasing him at Lawrence's if you chose one of the Optional Dialouges

They wear different hats, and Dee's still covered in the blood from Lawrence. Theoretically, they could've been lying about their identities from the start, but... why? They both made it clear they were teamed up when they punched Bigby, so it's not like one's trying to pin the blame on the other. Not seeing much other reason to assume they've randomly switched identities.

Of course, maybe they'll pull the ol' switcheroo later on. Y'never know. "Here's what I found out with Bigby"?

  • Didn't Bigby say something like "you're not going to make me chase you like your brother did"? Dee was the one he ran after which would mean he arrested Dum.

If you saved Lawrence, Dee isn't covered in blood when you chase him. BUT when you see him in the Trip Trap bar he has blood on his shoulders.

If you arrest the woodsman he says, "The guy has blood on him and you arrest me?" Blood could've been Bigby's or from something else.

  • Toad hit him with thing in his house I think.

  • I believe Dum was at Toad's house, not Dee.

  • I expected to be wrong about it here and now but I could see them switching later on if they look similar enough. Which some of you say that they don't, I clearly didn't observe Dum closely enough after the chase.

  • You'd have to strip em down to their johnnies.

  • They wear different hats...

  • Don't get stuck on a single line when you can see the whole picture for yourself.
