The Wolf Among Us Season 2?

edited February 2014 in The Wolf Among Us

Hey there! I'm new to this site, and I apologize if this discussion is posted somewhere else,
but do you guys think there will be a Season 2 of The Wolf Among Us?
Yes, I know it's a bit early to be thinking about it, but what are your predictions of Season 2 if it were to come in the future?

Comments

  • maybe if the season is succesful

  • Well, the difference is The Walking Dead is a prequel to the comics but in a different setting with different characters, so we don't really know any fates, Allowing them to make a season 2 because there is no ending to those character's stories.

As for The Wolf Among Us it's also based off the comics but instead of using different characters it actually uses a pretty important character who's already in the comic. After the 5 episodes are complete we know the rest of the story, which is why i don't think a season two is an option.

  • Very interesting. Thank you!

  • Well, The Walking Dead isn't exactly a prequel at all since it's pretty much in the same timeframe (to my knowledge). I see them as parallel stories. They had some links early on in the first episode. But since then they've went their separate routes.

  • I'd like they're to be but I'm not too sure to be honest. Telltale are working on two upcoming projects after TWAU and TWD Season Two. And who knows what licenses they'll obtain after that. I'd like to see this Season complete before we begin to speculate if there will be another season among anything else though.

  • Oh yeah, that's true. They got that Borderlands games coming as well as the Game of Thrones one too.
Those sound like they're going to be awesome!

  • Anything could happen really. The game is set 20 years prior to the comics and there are plenty of fables the comics haven't used.

You cannot predict so early. They are working so well on the games so may be for the demand they may get the other season. We can wait for the reviews.

  • I'd say there's a chance because isn't the game set twenty years before the comics? It's not like it's a day or two before. That said, I do think we should wait for the end, sale numbers etc. before wondering about season 2.

One thing, however, I do believe I remember Telltale saying in an interview that they do try to approach things with a view to a second season.

But the Plot is settled 20 Years before the Comics. There's a bunch of Time for some Stories.

Ah nevermind. Should read other comments before Posting lol.

  • Nah, they should come up with TWD Season 3 instead.

  • Well...by any chance know how long Rick was in his coma?

  • 1-2 months. The comic never reveals the exact time.

  • Thanks, so Episode One happened while Rick was in his Coma, making it kinda both a prequel and a parallel story.

  • Well, that's actually a problem. The game is very close to the comics as of right now. By ep 5 it's possible they could already be further. While in TWAU case is set 20 years before the first issue, leaving the possibility for a S2 open.

  • Well,it depends if this season is successful. To me,it looks really promising. But i also don't really know if there's gonna be S2,because that would just mean another story.I guess it would be,like,a series of cases or some shit like that.Personally,i would love the idea of the next season.Go,TWAU!(I am also a TWD fan, just throwing that out there)

  • I'd be up for The Wolf Among Us Season 2. Though I think most people would love to see The Walking Dead Season 3 the most. I'd love to see that too, but I'd love to also see Back to the Future Season 2 and maybe something else.
