Bigby vs Beast Final Forms

edited February 2014 in The Wolf Among Us

Personally, I think the fight with Beast should have been longer and Beast should have been a better fight. I also didn't like the fact that even if you miss almost every single prompt and Beast completely wipes the floor with you, Beast STILL ends up on the floor defeated while Bigby doesn't seemed to be phased at all, not even a scratch at the end of the fight. I consider Bigby and Beast to be on the same level fable wise. I hope the two have another brawl, but taken to the next level.

For an example, what if Bigby loses control by reaching his final wolf form and Beast is the only one who can stop him by putting him down. Maybe Beast wants to make amends to Bigby for attacking him in the hotel because of a misunderstanding by helping him convert back to his human form and the only way to do that is to throw down. That would be a awe-inspiring final fight to put an end to an amazing series.

What do you think?

  • Why do you want another fight with Beast?

  • It was cool and all, could've used more environment interaction like in the first though.

  • I just felt like this fight was rushed to push the episode out. I don't only want 'another' fight with Beast, I want a fight with Beast that doesn't feel rushed, a difficult fight, and both in their final forms. That would he beast.

Why do you want another fight with Beast?

  • That's what i was thinking. It would be sooo awesome and anti-climactic.But i don't think it should necessarily be Beast.Plus...In a fight like that,in their final forms,i would bet on the Big Bad Wolf. :)

  • I think they have fought in the comics before. It's been a while since I've read the series but if I'm remembering correctly, Bigby wiped the floor with Beast.

  • Then you have a pretty bad memory because they fought to a stalemate until their wives broke them up.

  • The problem is that Beast isn't able to fully control his transformation until later in the comics. So if you want a "real fight" between them, then pick those up.

  • Beast is a good guy though. If we are to see his final form I think it should be against the bad guys.

  • Isn't Beast's form controlled by how angry his wife is at him?

  • Initially that was the case, but when he becomes sheriff in the comics Frau Totenkinder changes the enchantment for him free of charge.

Isn't Beast's form controlled by how angry his wife is at him?

  • So it's possible for him to go into his final form. He just needs to make his wife angry at him for him to Beast out.

  • I remembered that it was the state of their relationship, not just how angry she is. Beauty wasn't agry in the corridor, it was Beast. Doesn't really matter which.

  • No,she wasn't angry. She was frustrated with him and wanted to convince him she wasn't cheating on him. It's not about the fact if she's angry or not,it's about her feeling at the moment,i think.

  • and he wouldn't do that just to fight with Bigby. It would take something much bigger than that.

  • I wished that there was an option to not get into the fight with Beast. During all of the prompts, I felt so bad for hurting him/defending myself - he's not a bad guy at all. I hope that his eyes recover. ; n ;

  • This is how I understood it while reading the comic.

lol They already did. Beauty and the Beast are both extremely popular with the "mundy's". So they are almost impossible to kill, let alone permanently damage.

    Yeah,but Bigby just rules.Alt text

  • What I knew they would do that disregarded the comic canon was make Beast's anger turn him into a monster, when in the comic it's Beauty's anger that turns Beast into a monster.

  • No...it's not her anger, but how she feels about him (aka the state of their relationship). So they didn't disregard anything. Obviously their relationship is going through a rough patch with all these secrets.

  • Thank goodness, I don't feel as bad about that. I know they're harder to kill, ie the Woodsman incident, but I was iffy about things like eyes, teeth, stuff like that.

  • Yeah, no worries there. Some Fables can come back from almost anything.

I agree with Prince_Charming. I don't think they disregarded it. I mean, after all he had just showed up at her place of work and he was making a complete ass out of himself by going into a jealous rage, being irrational and inconsolable, and accusing her of cheating. I think that it's believable that she wasn't very happy with him at that point in time and that their relationship is strained, so he takes on beastly features.

  • I think bigby would win in a full on fight. He has a lot more fight experience that beast. He hunted fables while beast sat around in his Castle
    all day
