Favorite Character Design

edited February 2014 in The Wolf Among Us

Which character do you think has the best character design? The Wolf Among Us has a very cool cel shaded, noir comic style graphic design, and all the characters have quite cool designs.

For me, I'd say Georgie has a really cool unique design and colorful look to him, with Bigby close behind because he always looks just so tough and badass, like he'd crack your skull in a second. Snow's design is also quite nice, I like the paleness to her design and detail in her clothes. The references to her story like the snowflakes on her shirt, for example. Overall, I love the style and graphics of The Wolf Among Us! Is like to learn how to replicate this style. Keep up the good work, TT!

  • I really like the design of Grendel a lot (his human form). The true form not so much, it looks like a rakghoul. Bibgy looks great too, they really captured the wolfishness even in the most human form.

  • Georgie followed by Gren are my favorite designs. That's not to say I don't like others, but I have already seen them in the comics. (i.e Bluebeard, Jack, Bigby, Snow, etc.)

I am right there with you on the "noir comic style graphic design", it's cool as hell.

  • It's awesome as hell. It's such a unique graphic design. I'd live to know how to replicate it exactly, I've been trying and getting close, but I never wusses hit the pin point.

  • Faith.

Eyes to die for and a purity that betrays the profession she found herself in; in fact, the bruises on her face could be understood as an indication of this sentiment.

  • But DAT ASS THO!I'm kinda talking 'bout his other form.

  • Faith's character design is also very cool! Especially in the eyes like you mentioned!

  • Snow White, gotta love those snowflakes, that's a great touch TellTale made unless she looks like that 20 years on in comics.

Bigby in his 'classic werewolf' appearance, know what I'm sayin'? All the cool put into the old school of being a lycanthrope! And Beast in his form as well, seriously intimidating and bound to give you nightmares! I trust that his full form would definitely make us succumb in fear if we ever do see it.

  • I'd say either Crane or the Woodsman.

  • Bigby's design is cool...but he has a really flat face. I like how Snow is depicted in a business attire befitting her position. I like the Woodsman's rugged flannel look, and Georgie's design perfectly screams asshole, from his stupid bowler hat down to his trash tattoos. Grendel's eye perplexes me (is it an injury, or is his glamour failing?) Bluebeard is a favorite, because it's a very clean look that reflects his status but also hides his menace.

    And Toad. Toad is awesome.

  • Bluebeard. I. love. Bluebeard. soooooo awesome. although crane is good too.

  • As evidenced by my avatar, I rather like Ichabod Crane. He's a real dapper gentleman, in his 19th century clothing in the 20th century.

Bigby and Snow, like you said, and basically for the same reasons, but also Beast in his more beastly form. He looks really cool, especially compared to in the comics, where I thought he looked a little silly in Beastly form.

I also very much appreciated the design behind Georgie and Grendell, as others have been saying.

My favorite would have to still be Bigby though.

Bluebeard's design is my favorite. Looks very classy and reflects his wealth in a way.

  • I really enjoyed Toad's character and just the way he looks its just....yeah. I like it.
Bigby is pretty friggin badass too though so I'm kinda torn.
And then you can't get nicer than Snow... until she was all like "I'm not yours to lose!"...the feels.
But then I have a soft spot for Faith because she seemed like a nice girl.

To be honest, all of the characters are well done.

Bluebeard. I. love. Bluebeard. soooooo awesome. although crane is good too.

  • I'd love to see Beast more into his well... his beast form. We get a peek of Bigby but it's be really cool to see what's in store with Beast and how TellTale will handle that.

I love all of the characters and how it's so fun to try to figure our who is who, from what story or rhyme they came from.

  • He looks so... diabolically chipper.
