HOLD ON A SECOND! why was Blank at the Blank?

why was Beast at The Open Arms? It seems unlikely that he was just wandering around searching for Beauty, so that makes you wonder, what was he doing at a (obviously) seedy place like that? hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm? explain that one Telltale!

  • He was probably worried and followed her

  • It's got a lot of people talking. He can't have followed her because she must have been there quite a while before Bigby arrived. I think he maybe asked around or maybe even used the mirror earlier, but it would be a stretch to say he followed her and then seemingly waited until Bigby arrived

How do we know that she had been there for a long time? It seems to have been early in the night because the club next door wasn't even open yet. Didn't they mention that it would open in a few hours? So, maybe she hadn't been on her shift for very long.

Or, maybe he did ask other people or use the mirror. It could have taken him a while to get there after he found out where she was. Perhaps he did wait. Maybe he thought she was waiting for someone and he was sneaking around to see if anyone came by to see her. Then he lost it when he saw Bigby talking to her. I don't know. His appearance was rather sudden (probably just for drama's sake), but I think there are a few possible explanations for it. It will be interesting to see if they tell us how he knew in the next episode.

yeah I guess that makes a good amount of sense. still, you'd wonder why the telling beast/ not telling beast about beauty thing wouldn't change anything

  • I did wonder that. Outside of some minor changes in dialogue, it didn't make much of a difference whether you told him or not. He still goes into a rage and accuses Beauty of cheating on him with Bigby and the fight goes the same way.

  • My theory is that beast is the murderer he came there to clean up,but he saw bigby and made a fight so they wouldnt go into the room.

  • No, he throws Bigby through the door himself so that's not very logical (if you stop beating on him). Also, he's a decent guy throughout. I'd put my money on the "headless horseman" at this point, framing Crane and all.

  • Don't you worry about Beast, let me worry about blank.

  • I've had this suspicion since the end of the first episode, with only the heads being on the doorstep and all. Played episode 2 and I still think it's the Headless Horseman.

  • But can it be that normal people (not fables) know about glamour too?

  • Possibly. There could be a leak of information to the mundies - would they know what to do with the glamour?

  • I just assumed he'd been asking around and been led to the Open Arms.

"Hey, have you seen a woman with blonde hair, maybe in a red outfit?"

"I might have seen someone like that walk into that motel next to the strip club, you might try there."

You know, something like that. Seems like a pretty plausible thing to happen.

  • BTW,there was also this hairy guy with a suspiciously badass attitude with her.I think they were gonna bang.

  • In fact, that's absolutely certain. no effing way he's just on a case or something. nope, she's sleeping with him.

  • Who's to say that Beast wasn't tipped off to where Beauty was somehow? That was my initial thought when he showed up. Georgie did make a call to complain about Bigby snooping around his club. Perhaps the two are connected. Probably not, though.

A popular theory is that Crane was looking through the magic mirror and saw Bigby's investigation. He was worried that Bigby would discover his secret, so he sent the Beast to the Open Arms Hotel. Crane expected that Beast would get angry and attack Bigby, and he was hoping that it would stop him from uncovering the secret behind room 207 (or at least slow him down).

    .

  • I really hope that's the case (or something similar). It's a lot better than Beast just showing up coincidentally.

  • I WAS THINKING THE SAME THING
Beauty had already been there for her shift and if he did follow her, then he saw Bigby come in after, so he wouldn't have accused him of cheating with his wife. Beauty should've questioned him when he was like "omg how could you do dis?". I hope Bigby gets a chance to search him for a key in the next episode because Beast is acting even more sketchy than Beauty was.

  • I'm thinking that in episode 1, when you had that choice, if you told Beast, Beauty wouldn't have told you as much as she did when Bigby had questions. I'm not sure for certain, but it's just a guess.

Beast seems like the kind of guy to be overly possessive of his significant other. He probably just asked around for someone matching Beauty's description, and voila. I get that in a game/series like this, everything is going to be scrutinized a bit more, but sometimes a obsessed boyfriend is just an obsessed boyfriend.

  • They would be the first to die.

  • He might've been stalking Beauty and then he found them.

  • Actually Bigby throws beast through the door, but I am interested in your horseman theory. After all why take pictures of yourself and leave them at a crime scene. At least in my game Bigby threw him anyway

  • Only Mundies in the game were the cops in The station that know about the Fables (At Least I think) And they got their memory wiped

  • They both throw each other through the door. Just depends on what you do.. If you don't hit him after you make the deicsion to beat on him more.. Beast throws you... But if you get the quicktime event after that decision then You throw him

  • Im going to guess that She still would have cause Beast wouldn't have been there yet...

    Just a guess though.
