If she got a loan from him she will know that the consequences if her actions come at a great risk if she does not manage to pay them back with interest.

the crooked man is a very evil fable he overs children their wishes in exchange for them naming off the brother sister or friend that they are mad at. he then kill the named child and traps their soul in a jar so that he may live longer. the child that named the other one is then taken to a land of fairy tales to be king but in truth the crooked man rules by controlling the king. his preferred travel method is through hand dug underground tunnels where he eats grubs and looks for ways to make people miserable.a fairy tale i remember him from goes along the lines of there was once a very greedy baron with miles upon miles of land and one day while the baron was making his routes he saw a strange man with a crooked face pop up out of the ground he demanded that the man pay for the land that he is using for his tunnels and the crooked man agreed, the baron then stated that for every pound of food that he could eat the crooked man must pay him in gold and the crooked man agreed. the baron ate pounds and pounds of food carefully weighing the meal before and after and then fell asleep due to being full. when he awoke his jaw was stuck open and the crooked man proceeded to pour molten gold down his throat until he was dead. thanks for reading lol

Okay, so my theory is that the Crooked Man is the top guy but NOT the murderer. Let me explain. This is based off of appearance but I think he is more like the guy that has lackies. I think he gets his lackies to do his dirty work (Like Bloody Mary killing, Tweedles spying, Pimp being the one that makes the stuff go around. I also suspect crane and the girls have to do with but the girls are forced to keep it a secret with a spell and it was one of the "sacrifices" Crane talked about making.) But that is what I think. Anyone have commments, ideas, words of abuse, anything?
