Could This Choice Lead to ____'s Death?

edited February 2014 in The Wolf Among Us

So in the first episode of TWAU, if Toad tells you about what happened at his apartment, he mentions if word ever got out that Bigby knew, Tweedledee/Tweedledum would come back to KILL Toad Jr! So what if you chose to capture Tweedledee maybe Tweedledum would come back and kill Toad Jr. And I have a feeling that Toad Jr. Didn't give us all the details when you question him so that could be very important. Just a theory, but tell me what you guys think!

  • The Tweedles are just hired goons. I doubt they have the capacity for outright murder, especially of a child. It's just an intimidation tactic.

  • Plus Choosing to let Toad JR go home or not

  • Nope,totally not Toad,cause he's in the comics.Well,in the backround,but still there.Dunno 'bout Jr.,though.Haven't seen him.I hope he's alright,his death would be such a pointless loss of SWAG :(

  • Nope..They're just too dumb to do that.I think their boss decides who do they kill and he'll not decide to kill Toad jr.

I don't know but in the preview for episode 3 you see Tweedledee pointing a shotgun at Bigby. So they're not as dumb as you think they are because Tweedledee had said before, "You're going to be in trouble when I get out of here!". So it's obviously revenge on Bigby. Who says he can't do the same but to Toad Jr. Instead?

The tweedles are dumb but not so dumb that they can't just find a gun and kill Toad Jr. Plus they do stick to their word most of the time. For example when torturing Tweedledee he says, "When I get out of here you're in trouble!". And in the episode 3 preview he is pointing a shotgun at Bigby.

  • I'm not saying they're too dumb, I'm saying they don't have the capacity for murder. They're the kind who'd rough you up and trash your house, not kill you.

  • Then how do you explain the shotgun in the episode 3 preview

  • How does tracking down someone, who everyone seems to know (And knows where he lives), and pointing a shotgun at him considered intelligent? Last time I checked, anyone could do that. I'm not saying that they couldn't do it to Toad Jr, but I really doubt it'll happen. As someone else mentioned, it's a scare tactic. They'd probably take out Toad, himself, before they took out his kid. They were just trying to intimidate Toad, to better their outcome. If they did kill TJ, that would probably throw a lot of unwanted attention their way, which probably, for the sake of their "investigation," wouldn't be too intelligent.

It wouldn't make too much sense, if you asked me.

  • Most probably just a scare tactic just like the threat to Mr. Toad. These guys are the type that use threats to get people to do what they want.

  • They already threatened Bigby. No one threatens someone twice.

Yeah but if the game happens before the comics and is cannon to the comics then that means Toad will survive. But TJ is no where to be found in the comics, so maybe he could've gotten killed beforehand maybe by the Tweedles though it also could be the killer.

  • Oh OK then. But then again they seem like the type that if you push them they will have no regrets with killing you.

  • All I'm going to say is if they kill TJ, then they killed Clementine for me, in a way. First Duck, now Toad Jr? What, is TTG abusive to animals, or something?! I wouldn't be able to control my rage, and I'd Hulk the f**k out! Then they'd find me smashing down the wall of their building, ready to ravage their rectums with pool noodles and radial tires. -__-

Just kidding. I adore you guys at TTG! :D

....Or am I? >_> Dun Dun DUUUUUN!

  • Dear PoopBrown, TTG feasts on your tears. TJ was a witness, so he's on KILLER'S MENU now. Watch again trailer for 3rd ep. and ask yourself why Bigby is the werewolf.

  • They can't be that hungry for our tears, or rage. Clementine is still alive. If they really wanted to open the floodgates, they would have offed her. Maybe we should make a "Don't kill TJ" thread, which might cause them to change the plot (Again?) if we rise up and start a riot. :D I'll grab the torches!

  • TTG learned that - tears = profit. Bigby turns into werewolf when he is pissed, right? What pissed him in that alley? Corpse of familiar innocent being? "Jesus Christ, Bigby. Is that you?" It's Toad's voice.

  • Its funny you connected TJ to Clementine because they have the voice actor.

  • Yeah it also makes sense why Toad is even there in the first place! Why else would he be traveling with Bigby other than his son being kidnapped and possibly killed!
