I looked up his name in the credits and it says his name is Kevin Howarth, i can't see TWAU listed in his imdb page http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0397721/ but the actor is from the UK so i guess its the same guy.
I signed up to reply to this. I really don't like the changed accent, it doesn't match his personality or appearance. I though the accent in the trailer was much more fitting for his look and mannerisms. Definitely sounds more like a bad (West) Yorkshire Accent than anything else, it reminds me of the awful radio plays we would listen to in English lessons.
I did wonder if they'd changed to an English accent to justify the presence of the cricket bat. It seemed like an odd thing to be in a scene with two ostensibly American characters, in an American bar.
See, I'm also from Yorkshire and I agree it doesn't sound like like a real Yorkshire accent. However, I think it sounds far more like someone failing to do a Yorkshire accent than failing to do a manc accent. If it was meant to be Manchester, we must be talking still pretty close to the Pennines.
Yeah I'd agree that it was a Manc accent tbh, I did say Yorkshire but I'm not from the area so I don't think I can hear the differences between the two that well, as I'd say they're reasonably similar.

I was under the impression they made him British because Georgie Porgie's rhyme is an English one. I think the cricket bat came about as a result of his being a Brit and not the other way around.
The way Telltale does these trailers, it's weeks ahead of when they're actually scheduled to work on particular episodes and scenes. Anything you see in a trailer for a Telltale game is just a placeholder or best case scenario a work in progress. The Walking Dead did it a couple of times over the course of its five episodes as well, if you'll recall.

I'm from London & it sounded Mancunian to me as well. I think Georgie is the only British accent in the game voiced by an actual British person. Toad, Dum & Dee sounded very much like North Americans trying to do a British accent.
Yeah, I love the new voice/accent for Porgie's character! Although I wonder, what was the deal with the original voice actor for him beforehand? Did he just simply get fed up with how long episode 2 took to make, or was there more to that? I'm kinda curious if anyone knows!

As a native from England who travels around the country regularly I would say he has a Derbyshire/Nottinghamshire accent.
No way that Georgies voice is a Midlands accent. I'm 95% certain its a Yorkshire accent.
