"Every Dog will have its day": Animals in TWD
So we all were thinking it in season 2 right? WalkerCat or dog.... or birds (Crows) so are animals immune to the ZA? Also does anyone (besides me) want DLC to play as a pet during the ZA? #SamDLC I think it could work based off silent playthroughs. Thoughts?

Not a troll legiltly asking!? heck the bit with Sam in S2 is the most I've seen the topic approached. It would take some creative writers but could work.
It would be interesting to see through the eyes of a pet, but it couldn't happen considering most of the game centers around dialogue and choices and you wouldn't be able to make much of anything as a cat.

Thx for reply, Not even a little curious? How bout a birdseye view of the ZA! Now I'm not really sure I'd play a whole game but maybe just as a tool to add details. Ppl will tell a dog all sorts of randomness!

Thx for reply,I meanDLC not entire game, or EP devote maybe 5 or 6 min to how this ( horse) or what ever survived, this is more a segment at that, Its kinda dumb I know, and has fan fic written all over it! But its a subject not talked about(as far as I know) any where in the TWD universe. Though I have'nt seen Fear the walking dead or read the comics yet. Besides I said Silent play thru, as in no dialog from PC. Alot of the best NPC lines come when we as players STFU. As Bruce Lee said:"Its like a finger pointing a way unto Heaven." "Don't focus on the finger,or you will miss the heavenly glory!" This would'nt really be about the animal. But the ppl it could meet. Plus i mean animals out number us right? No way walkers ate them all! thx again!
That's an interesting question. I never thought about animals being immune. Have we seen walker versions of them yet? I don't remember. Perhaps there is still hope for Maybelle. As for playing as a pet, I think it's an interesting concept, but I wouldn't want resources to go toward making a DLC for it. What I would like though would be to have an animal companion like I thought Sam was going to be.
Talking about dogs, I have a small idea about animals in Season 3. Telltale could introduce another dog for Clementine to interact with, only this time the sub-plot explores whether Clementine overcomes her fear of dog attacks and accepts the dog as a companion, or develops a strong mistrust of dogs, which will affect the fate of the dog in the game.
Back in the first episode of Season 2, if she is friendly towards Sam the dog, mercy kills him, and is not too bitter towards how her bite caused the Cabin group to lock her in a shed without medical supplies, she will learn accept the new dog as a friend and suffer less panic attacks. If she more was distant to Sam the dog, left it to die a slow death out of anger, and continues to be bitter towards the Cabin group after being locked in a shed, she will suffer from small panic attacks around dogs in almost every encounter, will be more insulting towards the dog, and will be more eager to use it as bait for walkers, as an easy option to escape from a dramatic event, but at the cost of her team's trust in her.
