I just finished Life and Death...
I've never felt so crappy after reading a volume of these comics, and I have read all of them. Not even Glenn's and Abraham's deaths and the Governor's attacks on the prison made me feel this bad.
I've also never hated a character/group in my life. I usually like villains. I like the Governor, Negan, even Gryff from GoT. But Alpha and the Whispers? I want to strangle them all Handsome Jack style (at least he was killing bandits). Burn them. Just kill them all in general. Once I realized the first page of heads wasn't fake, I already hated them. When I got to the second page, I stared in shock at Rosita's head. Knowing she was pregnant and Eugene......that sickens me to the core. The thing next to Rosita, I was confused. But as soon as I moved the page slowly and saw Ezekiel's head I threw my book on the ground and yelled. His last panel alive was such a great smile......bastards.
One thing I want is revenge. Total revenge. I want to burn all of those walkers and then let them loose on the Whispers' camp. I want to gun all the Whispers down. I would go so far to let Negan lead the Saviors back to kill them all. Alpha is officially my most hated Walking Dead character. And Carl. Why did you have to follow Lydia? This wouldn't have happened if he didn't.

I think Alpha is the most drawn out villain in TWD. She's someone who lost faith in the natural world and couldn't bare it anymore. She keeps the status quo because civilization and society has greatly failed her. I feel if Kirkman elaborated that the writing would be far more life like
I pretty much feel the same way. Looking at the new cover for issue 149, it seems that Negan will finally be released by Rick, possibly to help with the attack against the Whisperers. I would love to see Alpha beaten down by a new Lucille.
