Trophies / Achievements

I enjoy achievements that require some short of skill, this game only offers story-based achievements, not that they aren't nice but with the new Season, some new trophies should be introduced. Since I had some free time today, I managed to create three of them, that's the kind of trophies that I'd like to see in the new game.

  • Oooh, I'd love more achievements. I'd especially like more optional achievements (like the book of Fables in TWAU and the new crafting table achievements for Minecraft Story Mode).

He wants the trophies to be harder because at the moment they are so easy even a brain dead goose could do them all.

Meh. I don't feel like this is a game that deserves achievements like that. I think it would definitely distract players from the story...'Oh, I need to say this/do this to get an achievement," even though it may not fit the character or players choices in that section of the game, breaking away from the story and into outside influence. The whole point of TT's games is to be completely involved in the story, it's a cool idea but I don't think it would work well. Just my opinion.
Although I love TWAU, the Book of Fables achievements tried to do that, I know you can come back and play through the game anytime you like but personally I don't think it fit well. The only way to complete it is by pure chance (as tons of the entries are completely ambiguous), or search what choices to click on the internet. I loved the Book of Fables but designing it like that (and having achievements for it), didn't work at all. Don't try and deny it the only way anyone completed it was a lucky first run or going back to replay episodes after looking online, which further detaches from the story since your sole purpose is to get that achievement, and replaying an episode without starting from the beginning....just to get a BOF entry, isn't what the game is all about. It's about being Bigby Wolf, the sheriff and protector of FableTown, not the librarian. That's what I think anyway.
