  • i do not love kenny ...

  • It might not be a good choice indeed but complaining about it now is worthless. It already happened and we can't change anything.

As a lot of people before have said, he definitely took away the spotlight from just about every character in Season 2. Jane is the only person I can think of that had as much importance by the last episode as Kenny did. And who even knows what Telltale's original plan for Season 2 was? With that sweet Episode 4 title card and everything (Ugh I remember all the speculation we had about it). I remember that being Telltale's "weird and ambiguous" period where they seemed really focused on getting their new titles out and The Wolf Among Us and TWD S2 both took a different narrative shift that didn't go with the original title cards. Either way, to me I think Telltale wanted to focus on their new stuff and kinda just went with the easiest option in Season 2: a Kenny redemption story, which is what predominantly took up the second half of Season 2. Works as a story, but doesn't have much depth, like there wasn't a lot of deep thought put into it's story.

That said, I still think Episode 5 is phenomenal, even compared to all of Telltale's stuff!

  • We all love Kenny

    You sure? :P

  • Kenny cared for clementine more then Jane would of jane just wanted to break up the group I love Kenny and I would be upset if he's not in season 3 cause again he took care of clementine like she was his kid

  • they hardly interacted at all in Season 1 now all of a sudden its like their close friends?

  • They had to bring him back. Clementine was too boring.

They didn't have to be close friends in S1 for them to be close in S2. Just the thought of them two being "the last survivors" of a former group would probably have been a factor in drawing Kenny and Clem closer this season. Also, it's not like they were on bad terms in S1. Kenny did care for Clem in S1, and those feelings just got amplified the next season.

  • I'm guessing the part where Kenny wouldn't help Lee find her. If so, I agree. He's selfish on that and Lee helped his sorry ass.

  • When was Jane EVER mentioned on this thread? I guess it is true, no matter if it's Kenny or Jane, the other one gets brought up no matter what.
