One thing I still can't figure out is how Jake gets the models bones connected to each other(different head on body etc, but bones still work), and how the bones don't screw up in general(Like connecting 5 bones to 1 if I import different models.)...I've tried but the bones just get all screwy if I import more than 1 model and set of bones Maybe renaming has to do something with it... Oh, and I'm assuming all this is done in 3DS Max too :V
It looks fairly different, yeah. I can't say you'll see the full effects in what I'm posting today, though; it's more just setting up the atmosphere for it.

Here it is - the preview for 'House Whitehill of Ironrath', Gryff's cadet branch that's living in Ironrath during the Season Two AU.
Imagine what it would be like to leave Gryff in his own personal playground where what he says goes. Imagine that playground is filled with smallfolk and a remainder of soldiers that belonged to his sworn enemies. And with no Ludd to protect him now Gryff is paranoid that not only those soldiers and smallfolk are conspiring against him, but his own men too, as they're technically under the rule of Gryff's biggest tormentor, Torrhen, and would probably turn their back on him if it meant a surer deal with his older brother. Gryff can order the death of anyone who looks at him funny.
The result of all of those things is carnage, and Ironrath is a ghost town now - empty, yet filled with death.

It's not the matter of the picture, it's the matter of the whole situation with him loosing an eye, one of the few people who actually gave a shit about him and being stuck under the control of a motherfucker who enjoys making him miserable with practically no one he can trust by his side. And I don't really think, that there are any "good" or "bad" guys, neither in the game, nor in real life.
Yeah I realise the whole 'bad guy' thing wasn't really the right term to use. I suppose a better description would just be 'antagonist', if only from the Forresters' POV.

The bones is one of the easy parts. Making a skeleton that functions to some is just all your exams of your life wrapped into one 100 page thing and you have 30min to do it all

Looks so much like Elaena, I was thinking that Elaena was crying then Talia comforts her like a lead to kissing and stuff.
"Your talking about kissing stuff." - Clementine, 2014.
I think it's a good idea to make a thread for your Season 2 AU. I found it really enjoyable and as AgentZ46 said, a lot of members will surely enjoy it

Is that Talia and Elaena?
Talia and one of my many OCs, Lyarra Glenmore (who is Elaena's younger sister).

dogs
consider this a teaser post, even though these dogs are just gonna be background stuff
(casual Sam cameo)
Some punk's gonna charge in with a pack of dogs? XD
haha, not exactly; the dogs are for a little later down the line - we won't see them for a while yet.
And I was the 69 ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Preview of S2 AU ironrath going up today
The vibe kinda sorta fits the occasion, I guess?
Are you implying it looks different after the final battle? I know that in your AU the Whitehills won and set up a cadet branch in Ironrath.
It looks fairly different, yeah. I can't say you'll see the full effects in what I'm posting today, though; it's more just setting up the atmosphere for it.
I'm not familiar with the specifics, but Jake uses 3DS Max with his work.
hype intensifies
Sam tho...
the feels ;(

as always, amazing!11
This is insane! And awesome of course, you're amazing. Maester Ortengryn serves Gryff now doesn't he?
Not willingly, lol. I do have my Ortengryn model done for when the time comes, though. We will definitely be seeing him.
Is it bad that my first instinct in that situation is feeling sorry for Gryff?
Isn't the dog from GoT just a reocolor of Sam?
The textures are pretty much redone, but it's the same model, yeah.
How did you just make me feel sympathy for the man who killed my brotha?!
How did you do it!!!
I wasn't intending to make people feel sympathy for him - in that picture he's looking over his work. Gryff's still the bad guy here.

Oh I meant that as a good thing. Like your art effected me in a way that I feel compassion for Gryff.. Even if he doesn't deserve any.
Yeah, I got it. Still, most of this game's anatgonists get more of my sympathy than the actual protagonists, so, nothing new here with that picture xD
Good to know.

aww why did you bring him up?
Looks so much like Elaena, I was thinking that Elaena was crying then Talia comforts her like a lead to kissing and stuff.

Well, Elaena & Lyarra are related XD
Oh my god! Thanks for the new Gravatar XD

Maybe because will all the enemy archers and foot soldiers closing in on them there was literally no time to stop and hug?
Don't mean to necrothread but I'm still honestly considering making a thread for my Season 2 AU... thoughts?
That would be awesome! I really enjoy your AU, and I check your tumblr for it a lot. I think a lot of members here would really enjoy it.
The most effective way to do it is to do it. - My school's wall.
Which is just a more formal way of saying:
I'm gonna have to start living by that sentiment XD
It's a very true quote, it's not effective if you don't do it and if you don't do it nothing will happen so do it to be effective, you know?

It is done.
