My middle school had a strict dress code, and the principal and I were mortal enemies. We HATED each other. She would follow me around between classes and try to bust me for the stupidest "violations", when like 30 other girls were walking around doing the same thing and getting off scott free. I always felt so embarrassed, because she would do it in front of everyone and warn my male teachers about me (like wtf is that supposed to mean?).
Then one day I was sexually assaulted by another student on the school premises, and I spent the next day crying in the guidance office about it. My principal walks in and demands to know why I'm not in class and is told the story (she's the principal, it was "her business to know", apparently) and she turns it into a "lesson". She said it was my fault that it happened, since I was violating her stupid dress code and was "distracting and tempting" boys. So I got yelled at for something that wasn't my fault, and it made me feel terrible (I was only 13, and had very low self esteem).
Quiet, always risking getting my phone away, constantly paying bathroom visits just to get out of classes. My teachers think that I'm insane for some reason, guess I should stop drawing pentagrams on my homework.
So it's my mom's birthday, and I hid her birthday present so good that I can't fucking find it anywhere. She thinks I didn't get her anything. Fail on so many levels. I was so proud of that hiding spot..
I was a teenage anarchist, looking for a revolution.
I had the style, I had the ambition.
I read all the authors, I knew the right slogans.
There was no war but the class war.
I was ready to set the world on fire.
I was a teenage anarchist, looking for a revolution.
Do you remember when you were young and you wanted to set the world on fire?
I was a teenage anarchist, but the politics were too convenient.
In the depths of their humanity all I saw was bloodless ideology.
And with freedom as the doctrine, guess who was the new authority?
I was a teenage anarchist, but the politics were too convenient.
Do you remember when you were young and you wanted to set the world on fire?
I was a teenage anarchist, but then the scene got too rigid.
It was a mob mentality, they set their rifle sights on me.
Narrow visions of autonomy, you want me to surrender my identity.
I was a teenage anarchist, the revolution was a lie.

So, uh. Our Religion teacher showed us this today. I thought it was beautiful, some of you might not understand since it's in Spanish, but you might find it beautiful too.
If that was me, they would never see it coming. BTW, I was thinking we could just do like 10 at a time, that would be better than working on the whole thing. And Jon said he could help.
