Actually she did... But something is wrong with her. I think she pinched something in her neck, because when you try to move her she yelps. She'll will stand there and yelp for like... 5 seconds. So she won't let you touch her. . She won't try to bite you tho. She'll just back away.
But she's a great dog. ^-^ I got really lucky. She doesn't bite or bark.

My aunt (by marriage) 's young cousin worked as an aide in homes for the elderly. She was working at the home of one old lady when a man entered with the intention of robbing the house. He fatally shot the old woman, and then moved on raping and shooting the cousin. He freaked out and left the scene after taking some stuff, but fortunately was not able to "finish the job" and my aunt's cousin survived the gunshot wound.
My paternal great-grandparents lived and worked in their own combined restaurant/living space. My dad was only a little boy and was playing with play dough in the restaurant's basement and heard a gunshot. A group of men held my great-grandfather up for the register money, and after he gave it, they shot him in the head.
Ugh, so depressing. But what I am trying to say is that it is common to target the elderly, which is pretty effed up and sad.
