Not that a whole lot of people care, but it's video game news.
As you may have heard, Bioware recently repurposed their secondary studio(Montreal) from solo game development back to support. You may also have heard that they have delayed their journey into Online Multiplayer by up to a year.
What is new: There is currently a large list of production job openings at their primary studio in Edmonton(artists, animators, programmers, designers). There's been no word of them scrapping the new game as-is nor a mass-firing. Either something catastrophic happened with the new IP, or they're going to be working on something else.
Are they really nixing Mass Effect: Andromeda DLC plans(that wasn't officially cancelled; Just assumed with the Montreal news)?
What to do? So are they going to not do DLC and have fans wait 4-5 years between single player games? Are they going to try and juggle DLC, new IP production, and Dragon Age pre-production all within one studio?
I wish them the best of luck because I have a strange feeling that the latter is what's going on. While a lot of folks think they should "cut their loses"(even though Andromeda didn't completely bomb financially), EA and Bioware like to keep the train rolling like nothing is wrong.
To say it is the worst of them is something I agree with. Even so, it is not a bad game. The story is less compelling (not downright dogshit as some would have you believe), but overall good.
With that said, having the first one under your belt helps. It isn't necessary, but I recommend it for a better understanding of the small references abound in the game to the first.
Well, they didn't have Bioshock 1 at the shops...
I've played some pretty bad games in my life, I think I can handle it... I just want to know if it may ruin the experience of playing 1 or 2 if I played 2 first?
If you get the chance, I heartily recommend the Minerva's Den DLC for BioShock 2 once you complete the main game. It is honest to god one of the best DLC's I have ever played.
Wow. I just finished Bioshock for the first time. Not much to say other than it was an amazing game. I honestly didn't expect to like it as … moremuch as I did.
I didn't harvest a single Little Sister, so I got that ending, which I really liked. I thought it was a great ending. And that final line...
The story was really great. Full of many devious twists and turns, most of said twists had fantastic foreshadowing. The final boss I thought was a little too easy, though. One of my favorite parts was learning the backstory of Rapture and piecing together all the pieces until I could figure out what happened.
I'm gonna take a little break and then I'm going to start Bioshock 2. Not sure how it's gonna work being set in Rapture again, but I'm still excited.
Hello. For anybody interested, Oddworld Inhabitants is doing a kickstarter funding for Abe and Munch Plushies! I've got to say, they look re… moreally awesome:
Their goal is $40,000. If they reach this by June 12 the production will start. If they reach $75,000 by the same date, they will make Stranger plushies as well! Here are their goals:
If you want to view the full T&C's and stuff, here's the website link for the Oddworld Plush Kickstarter
I really hope they reach their goals, especially for the Stranger one because I need that plush! Sorry for the super-long post, just trying to spread the word!

Just sent my application in to become a notary, so I can solemnity my sister's marriage (Florida is 1 of 3 states that allow it). If any of ya'll are looking to elope, get a Florida marriage license and I'll hook you up for cheap.
It's mostly people bickering about current events and Trump in particular since the inauguration. There used to be more discussions of political theory and issues, though to be fair, the thread was much less active.

Man, I cannot wait for the Crash Trilogy to come out. So glad they took the time to remaster the first 3. Hopefully we'll see remasters of the later games after this one.
So, since the new boxart for Crash Bandicoot: The N. Sane Trilogy has been released, I thought it was time to change my avatar.
Not quite… more happy with it though, I'll change it again a bit later.
EDIT: I changed my avatar back. That last one was kinda awful.

YES! I would love a remake of Twinsanity. In my opinion, that's the best Crash game thats not a part of the original trilogy.
Or just a brand-new Crash game would be awesome. I really hope this game is successful!
Darn. No option for dead zones on console, and I can't take it apart since it's my brother's controller . Sigh... But thanks anyway at least I know why now and be prepared when I get my own!
AND NEVAHH! I'll just go Widow 76 mode, I heard the payload has baguettes. >w>
Your analog stick is starting to drift. The difference is that the deadzone (amount of pressure that can be applied without moving the stic… morek) is much higher in GTA by default than in Overwatch.
I'm not sure if it works for the ps4 controller, but when my xbox one controller started to drift, I took it apart and removal these little clips under the analog sticks. Seemed to work well.
You could also try increasing the deadzone a bit in Overwatch. Or you could not play widowmaker and get on the payload.
I swear to God my mother is a child.
Whenever there is a sex scene on television she acts like well how a 12 year old boy with ADHD will react.
She talks about sex the most in house (my grandma just started talking about dog sex WTF)
She talks about penis for no reason goddamned this is goinf on for how long and I told her to stop it because it's on a fucking level I just start to (She is watching a program Adam looks for Eve... I have seen now everything in life... I can die now)
It's like it's the first time ever she heard what sex is and I can't believe I made a post on my mothers sexuel comments
I listened to a lot of his music when I was experiencing one of my toughest times in life during my youth. He was my favorite artist for quite some time. He had an amazing voice and he was a great personality overall. Such a humble performer and a kind man.
I was shocked to hear that he apparently hanged himself. But it just goes to show, people can hide their pain inside themselves.
R.I.P Chris Cornell. Gone but certainly not forgotten.

The story is a bit worse. The combat and general gsmplay is actually much better IMO.
It'll be fine. You might wanto watch/read a synopsis of the first one though.

Woah, congrats!

That Munch plush is really adorable.
if you play black ops 3 zombies offline co-op you can still get the "connection interrupted" message and then lag out, offline.
what a shitty game
I think it'd be best to experience the story of the original by playing it. I wouldn't recommend watching/reading it's story/plot.
Burial at Sea tops it in every way if you ask me

I'd agree playing is better. But if they can't get ahold of the original for a long time, I think it's still worth a go.

Welcome back!

That's right, I remember Dave Barry doing something similar...
YES! I would love a remake of Twinsanity. In my opinion, that's the best Crash game thats not a part of the original trilogy.

Twinsanity was amazing! I played that one to death. Crash Team Racing was also another favorite of mine.
Yeah, I really hope they do decide to give Crash a brand new game because he definitely deserves one!
Thanks. Good to be back.
It took me until my 30's but I've finally become an internet adult.
Lately, when I've been typing retorts and replies, I've been stopping to read them over.
Half of the time, I just [ X ] out; It's not worth it.
FINALLY, I'm done with my final exams of this grade.
So, my local videogame shop is having a sale, and a game that usually costs $40 is now only $4 in the sale. This is pretty crazy, but also kinda cool.
Dave is truly a state treasure!
But I'll cut $2 off whatever price he gives you.
Is it true that Dontnod is working on Life is Strange season 2 now? I just checked their twitter.
Yes.
Oh hella yeah

I'm actually devastated about his death.

I love you.
Yes, you. Over there. The one there... That I'm pointing to.
Yep. You're awesome.
I'd hug you, but I'm socially awkward or whatever term they're using these days.
