I was honestly more sad for that then everyone elses death.
During my Rodrik playthrough, I went to go kick Gryff's ass and save private Ryon. I felt super bad when Gryff was crying before I killed him.

It took a while but I finished S1 and I can say that I officially suck at playing the game of thrones. Virtually everyone died in my canon.
