If Lee had lived?
What do you think Season 2 would've been like?
I think that Season 2s characters would have looked up to Lee, and that by the end of episode 2, or the beginning of Episode 3, that he would've been thought of as the group's official leader.
In Season 1, Lee was never considered a leader, but by the end he was in fact looked to as a leader.
Kenny has certain leadership qualities, and skills, but his lack of self control did not convey a feeling of confidence, nor trust.
No matter how good a person might be at leading, and no matter how good his other skills as a leader are, the fact is is that if he cannot remain calm under pressure, it makes him appear weak, and will cause others to rightly question his leadership abilities.
Lee, on the other hand, had an aura of confidence and calmness.
And therefore it makes more sense that people would look to him when things are rough.
That calmness and sure-footedness gave Lee a certain magnetism, that caused others to be drawn to him, and to trust him.
And given what has already been addressed, I think it would've been interesting to have seen Lee and Carver have the same type of conversation that Clementine and Caver had while in his office.
It would've been interesting to see how Carver would've responded to Lee.
And I think with such a cool-headed leader, the group wouldn't have fractured in S2E5, and that the Jane incident would not have even happened, more than likely.
