  • She hand an infarct when the swordsman hit the air and miss the head! That's the reason she fell. And Telltale made this scene in this angle of view because Mira is actually alive so MIRA IN SEASON 2 IS CONFIRMED!

I'm sorry. I know how much that gif hurts you and I'm sorry you had to see it again.

  • I thought this was rated M for Mature, Telltale didn't have to hide her head when it was getting cut off. :P

  • I think they did it out of respect for the character, like Stannis on the show.

    It's not brutal. It's ART!

  • I'm afraid not - in the books he specifically states he can't resurrect people whose heads were cut off.

Being beheaded is basically the perma-kill in ASOIAF - everyone truly important who died (of the "good" guys was beheaded - robb, eddard, etc.) was beheaded so fans couldn't scream - why doesn't someone bring them back?

I wonder theoretically wether Thoros could bring back somebody who was behaded.

  • What worries me is what will happen to her if she lives, Morgryn kills her at the start of s2? That's off, I'd rather her be dead indeterminately

  • Eh they needed to write her out, either way shes dead so at least watching her decapitated means no one can use her for her name.

    SPOILERS FROM BOOK!!!

Imo, there is no chance for Mira's story continuation in 2nd season. She wouldn't be playable anymore. The situation in King's Landing is the most problematic for me now because without Mira we don't have any good main hero who would be there. I thought about 4 characters, but after longer consideration I eliminated 2 of them:

    1) Sera - but honestly she has nothing to do with Forresters, and she could be angry with Mira in last episode, so I eliminated her.

    2) Tom- but he can be dead instead of Mira, so he can't replace Mira in season 2.

Now the options I still consider:

    3) Talia - Margaery marries Tommen becoming the queen, maybe she would invite Talia and tries to help her with her family situation? (but friendship between Mira and Margaery is also determinant if we deffend Sera or not)

    4) Knowing the books, my other theory is that we would play as Morgryn who would like to own Ironwood. If he got Mira alive, the situation is simple. If Mira is dead, the situation can be like with marriage of Ramsay Snow and unreal Sansa- Morgryn finds the girl similar to Mira (Forresters lost the war for now and so who would recognise if Mira is real?). That would make the same situation of Mira in both options, no mater if Mira was dead or not. As Whitehills own Ironwood now, Morgryn would need to use his diplomacy and try to find some allies (Cersei, Margaery, etc) who would help him to get Ironwood for himself- that would be for sure time-consuming, so we would have some1 who would be witness of King's Landing situation- come on, we need to see Cersei Walk of Shame :D And it would be interesting to play some1 evil, not only poor, good Forresters.
So I have the feeling it would be Morgryn to continue Mira's story.

  • I think that if Mira died she will not be in the second season, even if the player threw the coal boy under the bus. It is simple enough to slightly alter story lines and replace Asher with Rodrick (or vice versa), but to totally write a story line for a character that may die in the next season seems unreasonable.

Personally I feel like they may have "Jon Snowed" her. I suspect someone saved her, maybe Cersei, and she will be forced to marry Morgryn by that person. If the character chose to kill the coal boy then she is already marrying Morgryn. So from there on out the story lines can be parallel.

  • Hmmmmmm..... I understand why you want that but it's wishful thinking. There is no reason why the executioner would spare her.

  • I mean, it was pretty obvious when her body toppled over that it didn't have a head. I think it was just artistic camera angles on telltale's part (I actually thought it was well done). She would have died, I really don't see how she could live in that scenario.

  • Mira's still alive.

  • Its not that I would want her alive, I thought she looked like she had been beheaded by the way she fell away and was pretty convinced she was dead...at first.

In these games there are outcomes that can not be avoided, an example being Lady Forrester's death. She is going to die at the end no matter what you do. And so far every character that dies was inevitable, except Asher and Rodrick. Their story lines are similar enough that one can step into the other's place. I do not see that working for Mira's character, if Mira did die by the executioner then she would die early in the next season or not be in the next season at all.

Programming wise it makes more sense that she be kept alive. It would provide less work overall for the production team. A quick cut seen explaining why her life was spared and then the two outcomes from the finale become one.

  • Mira is a Forrester, not a spoiler!

    I'll let myself out now.

  • Game tells the story of Forresters, but it still follows the book. We meet main heroes from the book, just in their more ordinary life. We have Red Wedding, murder of Joffrey etc, just we have other witnesses, more concentrated on their own problems.

I played other computer rpg game based on Game of Thrones and honestly, plot was really similar to book. In the most suprising moments of game I surely knew what would happen :D

Telltale game is more mysterious for me, some of plottwists really suprised me, but still I see many connections between Forresters and Starks.

  • It was all a dream...

  • I hope shes not dead I was loyal to Tom he had always had my back I couldn't sacrifice him to save my own skin. If she is dead I hope we maybe get to play as Tom as consolation somehow maybe he could find a way to contact the other Forresters and act as their spy

  • I thinkl its awful that she died alone with none of her family even knowing about it.

  • YES, of Mira killing Morgryn!

I hope there will be some sort of 2 minutes long scene or at least cameo for those who accepted the offer

  • A nightmare more like.
