The WORST part of the game. PLEASE fix if you are making Season 3

Loved part one, loving part two.

Two things that drive me nuts!

1/ The spoilers! Stop it! I don't want to know AT ALL what happens in the next episode when I complete one! I don't want to know ANYTHING coming up! Please, for the love of everything holy and unholy, PLEASE let us skip these. For the past two games I have had to mute my television and look away from the screen. It's ultra annoying. I don't want a hint about new characters, new settings, you name it, I WANT NO INFORMATION when I start a new episode. Allowing us to hit "x" on PS4 controller to skip this should be no problem, or ESC on PC, or whatever. Just let us skip it!!!!

2/ Speaking of skipping, nothing is more obnoxious as unskippable CREDITS after each episode! I am trying to play the whole series of episode 2 all in a row. Are your developers really that obnoxious and egotistical that you must force us to see this five times in a row each game??? Wtf? Let us skip the credits and have a link on the menu to them. Again, an option to skip these is necessary. Never played a game from any other company in the world that not only FORCES the credits on you, but through a full playthrough, five...FIVE TIMES. This needs to be optional, it's fucking obnoxious otherwise.

Other than this, keep up the great work.

Comments

    1. For the Next Times just walk out of the room for like a minute, also the next times aren't even entirely accurate there just there to give you a vague idea on what will be happening in the next episode.

    2. As for credits...After The Walking Dead Season 2, Telltale made all of their next games have skippable credits so that should be implemented with Michonne and later Season 3.

1/ I already mute the television and look away, your solution would be equally bad. Really though, the solution should not be "walk out of room" or "mute television", it should be "hit the x button to skip", or "make sure the Show What's Next option is unchecked in settings". These sequences sometimes shows new places, new characters, details regarding what situations you'll be in, etc. They might not be 100% accurate, but like I said, I want ZERO spoilers. Whether they are minor or not, to me they are all major. Telling me I will be in a farm house, or in a warehouse, or at a camp, or with new people, or hiding under a bridge, etc. is not what I want. I want none of these clues at all. NOTHING, and I capitalize that to stress the importance of the word, when I say nothing I mean it, I don't want to know anything of what is coming up in next episode before I play it! It's really annoying that something that should be easily skippable requires me to either leave the room or mute the game.

2/ That is great, great news. Thank you. Now they just need to fix #1 and I will be fully satisfied.

  • i agree with both points, having the option for both would be a good thing.

I wouldn't mind if this happened. Those "next times" can be suspensful, but on replaying the game you notice that it isn't exactly the way it was. It's understandable as to why, but just seems odd in the end. It looks like in other Telltale games you can skip credits. So maybe this will become common in all their games.
