Cloud saves (Xbox specific)

Hi.
I recently went out and bought an Xbox One, upgrading from my 360. Because of backwards compatibility I have uploaded all my saves to the Xbox cloud (i think it's called OneDrive) so I can continue them, or play them again, on next gen games. I'm wondering if this works for The Walking Dead? For example, if I start up a new save in Season 2, will it accept my 360 cloud upload of Season 1's choices? Or do I have to start again?
This is especially important for me, regarding the upcoming Micchone and Season 3. Anyone have confirmation on this?

    I have an Xbox One as well. I don't think that it carries saves from the 360, so you MIGHT have to play the entire sEason 1 and 2 in order for it to affect season 3. I'm kind of sure xD
