Why do people always say "We didnt see Luke die just like Kenny" when we clearly saw Luke die?

I would accept anything at this point, but only for one reason, because I would give the world not to feel like I do right now about that finale and the TWDG in general. I was getting anxious and stressed over the Michonne's debut trailer coming out, which turned out to be alright for a trailer, but god knows how I'll be when the episodes come out or when Season 3 rolls around. You think I'm being over dramatic, but I'm not, I'm simply afraid of Telltale pulling the same stunt again as they did with that unnecessary plot twist that I can't even allow myself to have any expectations anymore.
On the mention of Kenny, imagine how much of an outcry there would have been if they had kept his death Season 1 in that alleyway. That would've been a poor death with him just sticking behind for no reason if he hadn't survived. Either way Kenny didn't need to stay, Ben wasn't going to make it out, so why stay rather than shoot him and get out of there? Makes no sense.

People have survived for longer than 30 minutes under cold water because of it's affect on the body. Lilly was tracking the group, and when seeing Kenny stayed back. She went in after Luke and saved him. He was in a coma for a couple of weeks but did survive. Sadly he was taken the opposite direction than Clementine, and won't be seen in the game again.
Highly unlikely.
So is the world ending because of zombies... It's called fanfiction. If he's never going to be in the game again, people can make up whatever they want.

You were the last one to post on Dec 31st saying "NO", and then just posted again saying to "stuff it, just cool it". why?
I didn't saw Luke die, I only saw Luke being pulled deep underwater.. It's possible that Luke survived in a way like Kenny (I know a lot of people don't like the thing about comparing Luke with Kenny) I don't say Luke returns in S3, but I either don't say he won't be coming back. Telltale gave us a lot of twist in the game, so why wouldn't they do that in S3?
They showed him unconscious under freezing water. How do you think he squeaked out of that one?

me too. He came to with a headache and is pretty pissed for being left for dead.
Of course Luke is alive, he was drowning in the frozen lake and then was sucked into a hidden grotto filled with food, supplies and plenty of oxygen for him to last and he made his way out, looking for the group and ran into Bonnie(if saved), Mike and Arvo in the woods and they go to the Pit Stop together but are too late and they say either Jane, Kenny or both of their dead bodies, wondering where Clementine went, so they head off to Mexico to find her.
I wouldn't be surprised if they revived him, they probably won't though, of course. Best thing they will do is make a character similar to him.
