Michonne's daughters

Does anyone else think they could be the connection between the Michonne series and Season 3? Michonne went on a journey to find her daughters which will be shown in the Telltale series, but in the end she clearly isn't able to. I think it could be possible that her daughters will be major characters in Season 3, possibly people who Clementine comes across (if we play as her).

I think that would be a really great way to tie in the video game and the comics further, and also means the Michonne series has a big purpose for going into Season 3.

  • Actually, I believe Michonne's daughters died in the first few days, and she knows.

  • Their fates are unknown, but are with a nanny.

  • What makes you think that?

    Uh, no...

She says, "I have no idea where they went, or if they're alive. But I know they're dead. I just know there's no way they made it."

She doesn't know for sure where they are or if they're dead; she's just being pessimistic about them being dead. She goes on to say how she still has questions about what happened to her girls, unlike how Rick lost Lori--while Rick knows that Lori is definitely dead, and knows exactly what happened to her, Michonne does not know the same for her daughters.

Unless you're referring to something else from a different issue?

  • Yikes, Judith dies in the comics? I hope we don't see the same in the show. It would be heartbreaking.

Oh shoot, sorry. :( I'll put a spoiler tag on it. And idk if it will happen on the show; as far as I know they don't have any plan for that so far.

  • Ah, yeah. Judith isn't dead in the show. Not yet anyway. (Mwahaha)

Neither is Carol, who I learned is also dead in the comics, too. So, they are kind of splitting off from the comic in some form... I don't read the comics so I wouldn't know all the differences, but I do know that anyone could die at any point in the tv series as many of them are apparently very different between the two mediums, or just dead at a different time.

  • Judiths death in the comics wasn't that long after her birth. It was when the Govenor attacked the prison. Clearly the show writers wanted to keep Judith around for some other purpose.

  • Oh crap. They're gonna be zombies aren't they.

  • Speaking of that , have we ever seen kid zombies? Besides the Boy In The Attic from Season One?

  • If you're talking about the game, no I don't believe so. The show had that girl in the opening scene, Sophia, Noah's brothers, can't recall any others off the top of my head.

  • Hmm, I hope her daughters aren't walkers. However I feel that this is a fear that Michonne will find herself dealing with in the game.

Mmm forgive me, but I'm gonna copy/paste from another thread: :p

There's definitely a handprint in one of the rooms depicted in the trailer. I imagine it's a child's, as it's very small-sized.

Compare it to the size of the adults:

Then that child's drawing also suggests that there could've been children there too.

And given that Michonne might be looking for her daughters (who are children) and the fact that she looks like she's very scared in this scene (I mean really, how often do you see Michonne look this scared?):

    enter image description here

and also the fact that she's reaching for her weapon like she's shown to do when she feels she needs it to take down a walker/enemy, I imagine Michonne might be afraid of finding child walkers in this room herself.

To me it looks like that thing in the corner is definitely a person, be they alive, dead, child, or adult:

  • That drawing is Clementine's , though. She drew it in Season One and apparently didn't have it on her when the Motor Inn was attacked.

  • It probably is a rehashed model, though. There was a whole thread dedicated to talking about this a while back.

  • I think the fact that Judith made it this far means she is going to be a survivor.

  • I do think they might be broughten up in the game (such as nightmare Michonne might have) but I doubt that she'll find them or at least try to because god knows whatever happened to them at this point.

  • Dream sequence clementine from season 1 and non canon zombie duck

  • Dream sequence Clem doesn't count , since that wasn't real.
