A film I'd love Season 3 or Michonne to carry over themes from.

A little off topic, sort of, but I have a recommendation for everybody on this forum waiting for Season 3 and Michonne. Please go and watch the film Maggie:

I asked my brother to get it for my birthday and I wasn't disappointed. This film is very The Walking Deadish but with a slower approach. It's not about how many zombies can be killed, but treating the infection like a terminal illness and how families deal and respond to it. The main focus is on this one family at a farm and the daughter Maggie is bitten; you see them trying to come to terms with it and make the most of the time they have together, while the father struggles to make the call on what to do when the times comes. It's not often I comment on music or the cinematography either, but it really stood out in this film.

There were moments that heavily reminded me of the TWDG video game, for example a situation that went down similar to Kenny, Katjaa and Duck in Episode 3. There's this scene where this mother comes to the farm late at night and the tension in that sequence is so well done in both making you sympathize, but fear her. This is what makes the film really stand out among a lot of other zombie films out there, is that it has a very human element, very much like what drew me to The Walking Dead to begin with; tears were actually falling down my face by the very end, and only a few films that get that reaction out of me.

And don't let Arnold in the role deter you; he and the rest of the cast do a really good job, and you even have Abigail Breslin from Zombieland playing the role of Maggie and her performance was believable to me of this frightened teenager having to accept she's going to die and fearing she'll hurt others, much like Lee's dilemma.

I'm bringing this up here, because there is a lot in this film I think Telltale could learn from, that, and it was such a well done movie and this is after me thinking 28 Days later was one of the only few decent zombish type flicks out there to see, which I also recommend. If you ever get the chance, you all should give Maggie a watch.

If you've seen the movie or if there's any other movies, books or shows or games that give you TWD feels, feel free to post them here to discuss them as well.
