How much money would you pay?
How much money would you pay if TWD game had real choices? Because it would require a lot more work, they would need more. Would you be willing to pay more for a game where you have real alternate endings, and characters that live because of your choices (Carly/Doug, Nick, ect)

lol I would pay all my money on anything related to the walking dead :P
The same amount I do now
Sooo... In other words you wouldn't pay more for a game that offers more?
If I can be a stingy bum and get a game that offers more for the same price as right now, I'll be a stingy bum, thank you very much
I would pay $20 a episode, if it meant the game could be that much more of an improved experience. Just a matter of personal budgeting over cheapness. Sometime I think perhaps that is why a lot of these games quality in general is typically mediocre at best as you ought not to expect much out of a $5 per episode game. Maybe if the episodes were $10 even $15 the game might be better put together with lesser glitches.
None. because I don't want massive branching.
Well that's a first. I've actually never seen someone say this before 0-o
Makes perfect sense to me.
I can see how that would feel overwhelming if you're given too much choice.
$6.24
I feel like too much branching could completely fuck up what they want to do with the story. It could become a huge mess.
Too much choice as apposed to no choice at all?
I agree with freelancepolicefan11
What do you mean by 'real' because so far, they do have all those. I think you mean more consequential or beneficial decisions and characters that live and actually add more than just single lines here and there but I would pay 25% more at most because it would still be an episodic game.
I dont buy into the we get no choice thing.
Yes yes and yes
We HAVE real choices. I think what you mean is larger consequences in relation to our choices.
Precisely 2 dollars and 59.6 cents.
Bam. Perfect offer. I'll take my well written Season 3 now, Telltale.
I think the game cost enough for what it is. They should work on expanding on choice effect
Personally I'm surprised they didn't cost "Less" than what they charged. They were nothing but low CGI quality interactive movies. Surely the voice acting didn't cost nearly the entire production budget did it? That being said I'm sure some of the money went to the license holders of The Walking Dead so I guess that really eats into the production cost.
I'm willing to Dish out Hundreds on actual good quality games. Like Rise of Flight which is a passion project as much as it is a simulation. I've likely spent between $200-300 on it alone. But it was worth every penny. I could go into detail why I think it is but it would just bore most people.
£5 an episode
If Lee lived? I don't know.. probably more than I did.
Ever played S2?
Found a way to save anyone in Season 1? Season 2 ending will almost certainly not matter for Season 3.
Yeah.. See how long your choice matters in the next game.
I'm kinda grateful I have not spent much more than $20 for any of these games. I guess adding more branches to the story and opening options, I'd probably pay up to $35 if the story was interesting and the player has more control.
Most of the choices were like bullshit that don't affect anything in s3..
