Your thoughts on ******* and ****? (Michonne Spoilers)

For those who played Michonne, what do you think of the two? Personally I think Randall is a bit of a hot blooded idiot who does the dirty work. Reminds me of Kenny if he were a direct antagonist. Like a redneck version of Elder Maxson or Mr. Jefferson. Still kinda funny though

I actually think Nora is a calm and experienced leader who actually prefers an environment of serenity while ruling by fear opposed over complete chaos like Carver

  • They both seem okay to me. Maybe a bit rough but everyone is now really. Especially given how unclear everything is about the current situation

  • Yeah. They should've name the episode "In Too Unclear".

  • I'm liking both of them so far

    Randall is delightfully despicable

  • I really liked Norma as a community leader, as she seems to know what it takes to keep thing in place. That makes me think she might've been a town mayor before the outbreak, or a CEO, or somebody else in a leadership position. I also like her approach toward these "thieves", conversing with them to try to understand their own perspective—which is an interesting dynamic, and it's rare to see it in fiction.

Randall… I personally disliked him a lot, but it's a realistic personality to have on a zombie apocalypse. His character is a bit… shallow, is the word? Two-dimensional. He also reminded of Kenny in the scene in which he beats up Greg.

By the way, it's Norma, not Nora.

  • So far I'm not too overly keen on them, which is more to do with how little I know of them so far than their actions and behavior. I do like Norma's character so far though, as she does appears to have more depth and ambiguity than Randall, who is just a brute.

I'm hoping that we get to know more of their character in the second episode, especially since we've only seen them for just one episode.

  • Randall needs to go, all i have to say haha

  • I like Norma, but Randall was annoying.

I had good vibes about Norma UNTIL she told me "we don't kill kids!", and then proceeds to bring Greg in and allows Randall to beat the crap out of him till he pees himself. As for Randall... ew.
(Also, who chuckled at her name because of Samira Wiley voicing Michonne and being in OITNB? Reminded me of Silent Norma for a second, haha)

  • I actually liked Randall, I like his personality.

  • I like them both, Randall seems like he knows what hes doing, but it seems he just takes violence a bit to far. He was concerned though when Zach shot Greg saying he "Took it to far" which was interesting.

  • Well both are sketchy, but I honestly hated those stupid kids more than them, saying I help steal from them...

Not too interesting in them as of now, but I'll take them for what they are and see how things develop.

  • Norma is awesome, she is such a polite lady. Randall, meh, he is such a douche.

Randall and Norma don't seem like bad guys to me. Sure, they're pretty rough around the edges, but that's to be expected. They genuinely don't seem to want to actively hurt their prisoners, even Randall wasn't happy when one was shot, but obviously they're trying to figure out things to best serve their group. It's not so different from how Arvo ended up in season 2 from a different perspective. The shooting obviously wasn't condoned by everyone, or even excessive force. I'm thinking they might be alright, but I saw the clips for next episode and it looks like Randall becomes their hostage, I don't think they'll be able to make nice after that.

  • Randall was a bit too Carver like for my liking.
