"Action Screen"?

So just started playing episode 1 and was just wondering if it's intentional that the screen becomes smaller during action moments because of fear of spoilers I didn't want to check gameplay videos.

    Yes, every time a action scene is about to happen the game will go into this mode.

    It's meant to be both cinematic, and a way to simulate Michonne's heightened senses during these scenes, I think. Sort of like tunnel vision, to show Michonne getting into her 'zone'
