The Walking Dead Animated Series?
Anybody else want to see a Walking Dead animated series that is a direct adaptation of the comic?
On Jan 25, 2012 AMC made a fully animated version of the beginning of Robert Kirkman's "The Walking Dead" graphic novel, featuring the voice of Phil LaMarr.
It's sad that this is the only motion comic of The Walking Dead because I would love to see the entire comic book series animated because I'd rather watch the animated version than read the comic book, especially for the much better issues later on.
I'd love to see the beautiful art of The Walking Dead come to life, figuratively and I think it'd be a great alternative for the fans, and newcomers alike, lets face it The Walking Dead's fanbase is growing immensely through the passing years and many get hooked through the television series and don't get me wrong I love AMC's The Walking Dead but so much has been changed from the comics and I can't give you the statistics but I'm sure a large number of the fanbase only watches the show and I personally believe that's in injustice, the comic is a such a great read and any fan of The Walking Dead should read the comics if they haven't already.
Back to my point; an episodic animated series that mirrors the comics much more closer than AMC's The Walking Dead could be a great way to get newcomers of the series up to speed with the comic book readers, and quite frankly you could arguably get away with so much more with an animated series. Believe me I've seen insanely violent and gory anime. A concern might be where will they air such a violent series well they could always utilize Netflix, Hulu, or Amazon Prime and get the show to air on one of those platforms, if not all 3. I'd love to see comics come to life in it's complete entirety in some form, just in my honest opinion I think an animated series is the way to go if they want to get a direct comic adaptation done right.
I would appreciate any thoughts you might have.

I would love it to happen maybe if the fans make they're voices head.
I do see it happening sometime in the future.
